The LEGO Ninjango Movie (2017)
The LEGO Ninjango Movie (2017)
2017 | Action, Adventure, Animation
A blink-and-you’ll-miss-it gag involving the infamous “Wilhelm scream” woke me up, as did the introduction, 50 minutes in, of a dreaded “ultimate weapon” that deftly mixes a live-action feline with the CGI Ninjago team.
Critic- Marc Savlov
Original Score: 1.5 out of 5

Friend Request (2016)
Friend Request (2016)
2016 | Horror, International, Mystery
Friend Request keeps up the pace and throws in a few neat twists to keep the plot from stagnating. What’s more, the Facebook fixation will hit a note with younger viewers, even if the message that ‘self-obsession = bad’ is a little heavy handed
Critic- Ally Wybrew

Original Score: 3 out of 5

Stronger (2016)
Stronger (2016)
2016 | Drama
Though Gordon Green is probably right that “Stronger” won’t please everyone, it should. Between all the crying and yelling and the Boston accents, “Stronger” is an actor’s movie. Gordon Green’s touch is subtle.

Retro City Rampage DX
Retro City Rampage DX
2017 | Action/Adventure
This is the third time we've reviewed this game, on each occasion a more feature-packed and improved iteration. Despite its 2010 roots - and pop culture references to match that time - it stands up extremely well

The Mountain Between Us (2017)
The Mountain Between Us (2017)
2017 | Drama, Romance
The Mountain Between Us starts creeping into fantasy — a sensation that becomes more pronounced once Alex and Ben act on their growing attraction. Abu-Assad can’t quite puncture the setup’s romance-novel phoniness, no matter the clear affection
Critic- Tim Grierson

Concrete And Gold by Foo Fighters
Concrete And Gold by Foo Fighters
2017 | Rock
Concrete and Gold is an apt title. The hard rock is still there but finally there’s a bit of a shimmer and glow, something the band absolutely needed lest they continue treading water. It’s a career-capper as unexpected as it is welcome.
Critic- Chris Gerard

Total War: Warhammer II
Total War: Warhammer II
2017 | Strategy
There’s not as much progress as I’d have liked to see in the politics and diplomacy systems, which show only modest improvements. But each of the four factions is a distinct and fun-to-play addition to the growing roster.
Critic- TJ Hafer

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
2017 | Action, Comedy, Sci-Fi
I know I'm in the minority here, but I felt the pacing of the front half was slow, and Drax's character had completely changed for no given reason. A lot of the unique aspects of the original that I enjoyed were over-exploited in this one, and the heavy handedness kept the humor from hitting the way it did in the first.

Strategy
Every choice, every death and every shot feels like it counts in XCOM 2 and it is this feeling of real consequence that makes for a truly remarkable strategy game - one that goes beyond its clever design decisions

The Bigger Artist by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
The Bigger Artist by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
2017 | Rap
Normally on albums that incorporate a revolving door of rap’s most well-known producers, like The Bigger Artist does, he result is a project without a clear identity, but A Boogie managed to avoid that
Critic- Alphonse Pierre
