BookCritics (259 KP) rated Midnight At The Electric in Books
Jun 29, 2017
I don’t want to say anything more about this novel because it honestly speaks so eloquently and perfectly for itself, but I will say that Jodi Lynn Anderson’s Midnight at the Electric is one of the most beautiful and powerful books you’ll read this year.

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) in Movies
Jun 29, 2017
The magic of Homecoming is that it belongs more to the John Hughes cinematic universe than the Avengers’. It cleverly references other Marvel films and even iconic scenes from previous Spider-jams, and right when it needs to

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated This Is Acting by Sia in Music
Jul 3, 2017
The paradox is that this self-professedly impersonal album should feel more thrillingly intimate than many a supposedly soul-baring effort. That's thank to the remarkable instrument that is Furler's voice

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Chasing Coral (2017) in Movies
Jul 3, 2017
These documentaries can prove to be overwhelming and quite scary, given how bleak these prescient warnings can sound. The film ends on a more positive, upbeat note, calling on the optimism and strength of the younger generation to guide away from disaster

BookCritics (259 KP) rated I am Pilgrim in Books
Jul 4, 2017
I Am Pilgrim is a highly ambition novel that fully lives up to those ambitions and I’m counting on it becoming a huge hit this summer. It appears this is going to be a series, and if that’s truly the case, I desperately need the next!

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Game Of Thrones - Season 4 in TV
Jul 10, 2017
Can’t say that I love every storyline occurring in the series, but I do they do a good job trying. Brans story and his trip north seems to flounder, but fortunately,Cersei Lannister returns with a vengeance despite a rather downplayed role in Season 3.

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Game Of Thrones - Season 5 in TV
Jul 10, 2017
Jon Snows rise and fall (2 more)
"Hardhome"
Great runs for Stannis, Cersei, Dany, Tyrion, and Arya
Dorne (1 more)
Vanishing characters
Overall though, the positives outweighed the negatives, the big moments delivered, the set pieces sizzled, and misery showed us once again that it absolutely adores company.

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Everybody by Logic in Music
Jul 10, 2017
the repetitive nature of Logic’s lyrics hurts Everybody but for Logic’s younger core fan base, especially those going through struggles of their own, his latest work will be the catharsis to keep them from plunging off the deep end.

Sheridan (209 KP) rated District 9 (2009) in Movies
Jul 12, 2017
An Interesting and Unique International Film
I went into this film not sure what to expect and boy I was not disappointed. The story was original, the aliens were unique, and it was set in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is very refreshing to see such a good international film, as I have not had much luck with them in my time. Simply brilliant film, highly recommend!
BookCritics (259 KP) rated We Shall Not All Sleep in Books

Hard time connecting with the adults, the children were far more interesting to me. I was expecting more intrigue, or maybe I missed it.I liked it, but I didn’t fully follow what was happening and found myself going back to read again
