can a second adventure starring Marvel’s most bizarre band of misfits retain the same quirky charm, sense of freshness, and overall weird and cosmically comedic tone of the first movie, while pushing the franchise forward? The answer is both yes and no.

One important note for crime readers: this book is a lighter suspense read in many ways. The story is laced with menace throughout, but it's not until the last 60 or so pages that any real action takes place. This book is not very violent..

So, did this one live up to all the hype? Yes, in a way it did. Let's just say that it managed to hold its own and it was a very enjoyable read. Will it be one of my top ten of the year? No it won't be but I still really enjoyed it

An opulent and striking exploration of the oppressive nature of the male gaze, The Handmaiden does feel like it runs about 20 minutes too long, but honestly, the film’s finale is so wickedly satisfying that I didn’t mind Chan-Wook taking a bit longer

JAWS is a very good movie. It’s very well done and it still scared the bejeezus out of me as I watched it again. It’s definitely an “edge of your seat” type of movie. It’s a movie that put a far of sharks in me and I imagine for a lot of people.

"Awaken, My Love!" by Childish Gambino
2016 | Psychedelic, Rhythm And Blues, Soul
It won’t pierce everyone’s soul because Donald Gambino wasn’t birthed to be everyone’s cultural hero. With the musical strides exhibited on this as whole, he just well may birth a new wave of artists who simply want to pick up an instrument and jam.

Decent performances
Good Plot Development
Exceptionally detail-oriented for obscure events and characters from prior seasons (1 more)
Some truly unsatisfying character moments
Season 6 of Game Of Thrones features enough character development and high points for plot development to make it well worth watching and adding to one's video library.

A highly original dystopian novel
It's a sign of good book when you can't bring yourself to put it down, and Wool certainly fulfills this.

It's a fantastic and a different take on the dystopian future novel. It's claustrophobic and one of the few books I love that I'd actually like to see made into a (decent) film. There are some great characters, an intriguing premise and it just keeps you reading.

Great film
This is Ridley Scott's best film in years. Considering it's about one man stranded on Mars, it's surprisingly interesting, full of humour and intrigue. Matt Damon puts in a great performance holding a lot of the film on his own, although the supporting cast are fantastic too. It has a really good soundtrack and is also very close to the original book by Andy Weir. One of the best films of 2015.
