The Equalizer 2 (2018) may take some odd turns but evens out into a solid vigilante thriller. #Review
I’m enough of a fan of the original TV show “The Equalizer” to wish Antoine Fuqua had found a way to incorporate Stewart Copeland’s superb synth-driven theme tune into this modern reinterpretation. But my favourite part of the TV series was always the helping out of ‘the little guy’ rather than the bigger, over-arching spycraft arcs. It’s in this area that “The Equalizer 2” unexpectedly delights even as it leads to a slightly meandering story on screen... FULL REVIEW: http://bit.ly/CraggusEqualizer2
My go to site
I love Pinterest as a ‘go to’ site when I am looking for recipies and craft patterns. It’s very easy to use, tho I would like to be able to search ‘country specific’ sometimes rather than having to trawl through everything. It’s also very easy to get sidetracked from the original search as there is so much on offer.

WOW
I love Robin Williams so I was hesitant to watch this,,,but my man, Dwayne Johnson, did a good job on this one. It was quite different than the original, although the premise is the same. They jump into a video game and start living it. The best part is the characters that they become and how they learn more about themselves by being those characters. I love the movie, the story line and the ending. Amazing

This book totally messed with my head! I loved it!
I'll admit it's a strange one and I haven't read anything like it before so to me it's definitely original. It's also very creepy and very tense. The author is great at building tension, it starts from the very first page and doesn't let you go until the end...even then you'll be thinking about it with your night-light on.
It's pretty scary to think this kind of thing happens in real life...talk about nightmare neighbours.

I'll admit that this one confused me a little which made me zone in and out every so often, so that would have affected my enjoyment. This was a short creepy read, quite original and well written but I didn't enjoy it as much as I did 'The Woman in Black'. I like a good scare but this just didn't give me the scare I was hoping for, no goosebumps and the story became too predictable towards the end. Perhaps due to it's short length it came across a little flat, however, considering how short it was it was an ok read.

Hilarious
Before New Years, I had never heard of this game. While at a friend's house, they brought it out and absolute hilarity ensued. The content is original and definitely adult oriented. The judge draws a card, rolls the dice and selects the scenario on the card that goes with the coinciding number. You choose from the cards in your hand to make the situation worse and the person who drew the card picks the winner. The judge changes each turn. I would definitely play this game again with a group of friends.
David McK (3425 KP) rated Invincible (The Lost Fleet: Beyond the Frontier, #2) in Books

The second book in 'The Lost Fleet: Beyond the Frontier' spin-off from 'The Lost Fleet' series, with most of the same characters (so, in a way, the 7th book in the series).
Whereas the previous book primarily concerned the outbound portion of their mission (to investigate the extent of enigma - aliens discovered in the 'original' series - space), in this the fleet starts its journey home with the novel picking up almost directly from the end of that previous story.
They also don't (yet) make it all the way home - have to leave room for the next entry in the series, after all!

The first - and, for my money, best - of Peter Jackson's now 6-film foray into Middle Earth, that (I'm sure) saw a massive boost to the New Zealand economy where it was filmed!
It's hard to talk about this film nowadays without describing the plot - is there anyone who doesn't know it? - but this is the film that (I believe) sticks closest to the original story, and is very much what I would call 'traditional' High Fantasy (as opposed to 'Urban Fantasy'), with do-good Elves, Dwarves, Rangers, Orcs, Goblins, Cave-Trolls, Hobbits (halflings) ,,,,
And finally,
"Fly, you fools!"
still packs a punch!

Weak follow up
5 years after the original film we have a surprise sequel. The first film was OK but hardly a stand out film. This and a 3rd film were shot close together. The plot is rather silly but you expect that. I didn't like the design of the prison this time. Trying to make it look high tech and automated... With a lot of neon lights. It just looks very low budget. A few good fight scenes but little else. A shame when you look at the cast list.

Very good game
It's annoying that you only get coins when you're knocked out of a gym now, there's no incentive to put your best pokemon in them anymore to hold the gyms and why only 50 max per day?! The original way of 10 coins per day for each gym you hold up to a max of 100 coins a day was so much better!
Players want to get knocked of gyms now just so they can get the coins.. Where's the fun in that?
