"I have an argument with people who say that the punk scene changed their lives. Nearly everyone I speak to says that the Clash were the most exciting and the most important group of the era. But without the Sex Pistols there wouldn't have been any Clash: end of story. And people claim that Chris Spedding played on the album [as uncredited session musician], but really it was Steve Jones, and he is one of the great rock & roll guitarists. And Lydon was streets ahead of everyone else. The Clash made great pop records and the Sex Pistols were a great punk group. And for me this is year zero, you can go back to the Stooges if you like but if you were a kid waiting for someone to kick against bands that I have listed like Genesis, then the Sex Pistols were it. They lit the touch paper. It's a cliché but it's true."

"For obvious reasons, because I was big on Game of Thrones. I had seen The Station Agent about six months ago. “Let me check this out. Let me see what Tom’s about. I just worked with him; let me see what his work’s like.”Yo, I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. Peter Dinklage, I mean, the way he carries that thing. Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson, and Bobby Cannavale? Just that cast alone, man. The way these people interacted together, you could tell this wasn’t words on paper. These were people living these lives, man. And I was like, “That is f—in’ acting right there.” I was pulling out my pad and pen and taking notes, brother. And then the way it ended, I was like, “Yeah. Yeah. Why not end it like that? It’s been real life through this whole thing. Why not end it right there?” I loved that. And that showed me right there that Tom’s not afraid at all"

Dean (6927 KP) rated The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020) in Movies

The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020)
The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020)
2020 | Comedy, Horror
Same cast as the first film (0 more)
Barely any Samara Weaving (0 more)
Why is he still shirtless?
I was quite surprised to see this sequel pop up to surprise hit @The Babysitter (2017) featuring all the original cast. Set 2 years later, although 3 have passed since the first film was made. This time Cole is now at high school and even more of an outcast as no one believes what happened in the first film. It's not long before he needs to face his demons once more.
A good idea on paper perhaps but this is a big step down from the first. Largely due to the setting but really missing Samara Weaving who barely features this time round. Which is a real shame. You definitely need to see the first to get a lot of the in jokes from events of the first. Definitely one sequel that doesn't come close to the original.
