" we are your main desire" --- oh god are you ever, since seeing this movie my fascination with vampires was born. You could say i'm a little obsessed with them.. but in all truth, i'm more than obsessed with them, when all the girls wanted to be something special when they were older i told everyone i wanted to be a vampire, running around with my fake paper teeth, my long cape, screaming when the light hit my skin and running after people to suck their blood. Yeah i was a weird child.
This movie in my opinion is a master piece to anne rice work. If you havent seen it i would suggest that you do
Many people hate this movie, but for me it's a walk down memory lane, every year on my birthday i play this movie and recite it word for word, singing the songs, and dancing to the music. this movie is a big thing for me, it started my love for the violin. When lestat plays with the gypsy. I ran to my mother and told her i wanted a violin. I used to lay in bed and imagine him playing for me.

BadgerMuffin (48 KP) rated Judge Dredd in Tabletop Games

The Judge Dredd RPG is simple, but adds things many RPG's don't have. For example, say you were trying to investigate someone's emails, you would add together your computer dice (2d6) and your investigation dice (1d6) rolling for a total of 3d6. This is a nifty feature which totally makes sense and means you really think about who does what in your games.
Now I do have a problem with Sci Fi games. Namely you can do almost anything, nothing stops you but the laws of physics. This can really derail a game. If you play with the right group then this isn't a problem, but finding those players can be hard.
On the outside of the DM's screen it contains a list of crimes and what their punishment is, which is rather useful as a player. They also contain many useful stats for vehicles.
The paper quality this book is printed on is ~130gsm and as such has a good feel to it.
I personally would look to buy it, but maybe not at full price. They are releasing new expansions and as such this many change with time. But currently I'd look to spend maybe a maximum of £35 on this book.
TL;DR
-Expansive book and screen
-Fun to Play
-Cool Mechanics
-Maybe wait until it's on sale.
Brilliant, just like Amy.
Can you ever really know someone- completely?
WOW! I loved this book. I believe it is probably because the subject matter is so different from many of the titles I have read this year. I especially liked the way the author used the time frames as the chapters; “One week after…”
Halfway through the book I was very unsure how the story would end or turn out at all. I thought I knew what was going on until I reached the last few pages. I always think there are better ways to end certain stories but even though the ending didn’t turn out as I thought it would it was still an excellent story nonetheless. I wouldn’t change anything.
I hate raving about an author in a review to help others decide whether the read is worth their time or not. I have to say IT IS ABSOLUTELY worth the time. I typically don’t even read e-books unless its one of those books I simply cannot wait for, then I typically drag through the stories since I hate reading them on the computer and the tablet or Ipad is frustrating when all you want to do is turn a paper page. However, I would buy this author’s e-books and proudly on my desktop.
Gillian Flynn is a very good story teller. I am ecstatic that I discovered this author. I will definitely be following this read up with her other two novels: Sharp Objects and Dark Places.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2204 KP) rated The Subject of Malice in Books
Jul 29, 2019
In this book, Lila is approached by her boyfriend, police detective Lex Archer, about helping investigate because she knows the players and the motives. That stretched credibility a bit for me, but I was having so much fun I didn’t let it bother me too much. There is plenty of malice at the conference, not all of it connected to the murder, and that was enough to keep me turning the pages as quickly as possible until I reached the satisfying climax. Lila is once again a great main character who faces a couple of twists in her personal life in this book. We don’t see all of the supporting cast, but the ones we do see are great as usual, and the suspects are strong as well. The setting of the conference, an old movie studio turned into a resort, added a layer of fun to things as well. All told, I give this book a grade of A+.
