I didn't enjoy this as much as the first one. It was still that same seductive Martin but the relationship evolved and it got a little too domesticated in a way. I understood that it was going to change but I started to lose interest.

The ending perked me up a little bit but at the same time, I don't think I'm that interested in reading the ending. I'm sure they'll get together and be as passionate as ever.

Watch 1931's Dracula starring Bela Lugosi. Then the 1931 Spanish version of Dracula. The American version filmed during the day and the Spanish cast and crew used the exact same sets to film at the exact time, only at night, instead. It's quite a study in film to compare the two. From the cinematography, to the lighting, the sounds, costumes, acting, and more. The Spanish version is very sensual and passionate while the American one is, well, bloodless, but still good.

"I first read this when I was a young girl, way before I had ever had any real romance of my own.... but Kathy’s speech to her maid Nellie about her love for Heathcliff always stayed with me: “Nelly, I AM Heathcliff—he’s always, always in my mind—not as a pleasure, any more then I am always a pleasure to myself—but, as my own being.” It’s still for me the most passionate and fatalistic novel about romantic love."

I had heard good things about this book but the reviews were mixed. so I decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed it, it took a little bit to get into but then it just flies. this is defiantly a roller coaster of a story. the author has a brilliant way of writing the scenes so they are intense and very passionate which will suck you into the story.

Oh. My. God. I LOVED this book more than I can say. This was the first I've read in the series and I will sure as hell be going back for more!? The writing was fabulous.. unlike your typical rock story and I was hooked right from the start and did not want to put it down. I loved Z and Anna and their connection was both beautiful and heartbreaking. Passionate love scenes, loss, hope, and undying love... An absolute must-read - Highly recommended!!

I had high hopes for [The Dynamics of Disaster] since I love learning about how disasters impact our world. Although [Susan W. Kieffer] obviously knows her content and is passionate about it all the technical reading turned out to be a bit dry. I imagine the author would be a wonderful person to take a class from or work with the human wit does not transfer well to scientific information in text form.

That being said I would love to work with her on her CDC-PE idea.

The GREATEST show
This was a movie that seemed to come out of absolutely nowhere, but swept the whole world - myself included. I love the beating, human heart at the core of everything this movie is, along with the fantastic, passionate cast and wonderful musical numbers.

I work in a movie theatre, and this movie was still selling out in June, having come out at the end of December the previous year. THAT many people can't be wrong - I certainly don't think they are.

"I love Louis Malle’s films because he’s always inventive in his own way. He’s not trying to be anybody else or copy any kind of fashion; he’s trying to give us something he believes in. In The Fire Within you feel this French, fifties-sixties kind of atmosphere: there’s always piano music by Satie and this feeling of desire for something grander, more powerful, more passionate. I felt that way as a teenager and a younger adult, always thinking life was never as intense as I wished it could be."

OMG! How can she just end her stories with these giant cliff-hangers?!

I think because it didn't quite run along the same lines as the previous books - a brother dying - that it didn't quite have the same attraction for me as the others.

Saying that, though, I have to admit that I love the connection between Jace and Julz/Sammi. It's so passionate and intense!

As for Dornan and everyone else...die already you evil mofos! I dislike you so bleeding much. DIE! *takes a deep, calming breath*

fantastic read
This is the twelfth book in this series by this author but the first one that I have read. This s a very emotional read. This book has heartache, joy, drama and some intrigue. The characters are very passionate and intense. I'm definitely going to go back and read the others in this series. I was drawn into the story from the start even though I haven't read the other books. I can't wait to read more from this author and this series in the future.
