Heather (4 KP) rated Where She Went (If I Stay, #2) in Books
May 31, 2018
I love how the "If I Stay" story ended between Mia and Adam in this book. This one didn't keep me turning the pages as much as the first book but was definitely worth the read to get the whole picture.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2072 KP) rated The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales in Books
Mar 9, 2018
A bit of a longer picture book featuring several takes on fairy tails. Lots of laughs for older pre-schoolers and their parents.

Erika (17788 KP) rated The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness in Books
Jan 21, 2019 (Updated Jan 21, 2019)
Erik Larson is one of the popular historian writers that I really like. He builds a very big picture of the times, and what was going on in general, outside of H.H. Holmes' murder house. I enjoy knowing the whole picture to put everything into context. Holmes himself is terrifying, and creepily sophisticated for his time.
If you're expecting a book purely based upon Holmes murders, I would not suggest this. Larson builds a huge picture with rich historical detail, which isn't some people's jams. This book is more so about the Worlds' Fair, and how the murder house took advantage of the slight upheaval.

My Life for You
My absolute favorite Stephen King novel. He can paint a picture on the walls of your mind you cannot replicate. I love this book.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2072 KP) rated Green Eggs and Ham in Books
Mar 9, 2018
A classic picture book that challenges kids to try new things. And yet it's repetition is part of the fun and charm. Silly, but with a good point.

Caffeinated Fae (464 KP) rated Please Don't Grab My P#$$y in Books
Jul 12, 2018
I received this book in exchange for an honest review via NetGalley. This is a quick little picture book that explains all of the things that you can grab without grabbing a P#$$y. This was cute and quirky with a fun rhyme scheme. I enjoyed it for what it was.
The Chocolate Lady (94 KP) rated The Cutting Room in Books

Just so you know, this book isn't about motion picture film editing, it is about crime, pornography, erotica, sex, and money with a mystery thrown in for good measure. You can read my full review of this book here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/11/22/a-slice-of-glasgows-darker-corners/
