Vampire Reinis has been assigned to mate with a human to create a prophesied child that will save his coven. The rules are simple: get the job done and come home. Falling in love is out of the question.
Yet that's exactly what Reinis has unwittingly done. Now he risks execution at the hands of his own coven for breaking vampire law.
Fresh out of a bad relationship, Sarma has no clue about the dark, seductive world Reinis is from. But when he marks her as his mate, she's thrown headfirst into a secret world of vampires...painting a target on her back with a rival coven that will do anything to prevent the prophecy from coming to pass.
Dark and hauntingly sensual, the fate of the vampire world lay in the birth of one special child born of a human and a vampire, but the prophecy states they may not fall in love
A brilliant and unique story.
This is a fantastic start to a new series and I absolutely loved it. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this book.
The characters were well thought out and the way Scarlett wrote about them made them seem so real and unique. I loved the plot lines and I particularly loved the way all the characters interacted with each other and others.
I just found it totally unique. You cant help but feel like you really know the main characters. I cant wait to see whats going to happen in this series.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

harmony and peace can be found when three destinies are one.
Emelia thought claiming her caster mate, Ronan, would bring her one step closer to the peaceful life she craves. She couldn't have been more wrong. Her mates are at each other's throats, and she hasn't been able to communicate with her father for weeks, not to mention that they are once again in hiding after the latest Council attack. No, her life is far from peaceful.
The prophecy states that Emelia will be the one to free them all; to bring harmony to the chaotic and divided supernatural community, but she knows she can't do it alone. She will need to trust her allies, old and new, as well as herself and her mates. But when the dust settles, will it be enough? Can she defeat the ruling Council and save the ones she loves?
The end of the prophecy is here, but is Emelia strong enough to be the savior she's meant to be?
This was a decent ending to what’s been a brilliant series. Xan for most of this book and others has drove me crazy so to see him finally get his act together was a sigh of relief. The only thing that kind of bugged me was the ending, it’s been so built up and long coming and it just seemed a little rushed. I think it deserved a bit more time than what it had. The Epilogue was just so cute though.

Whilst understandable, Hawkshadow/Arythan has major temper issues and does seem to fly off the handle quite quickly. The relationship that develops between him and the "Stone of Prophecy" is a brilliant one although it is left rather suddenly near the end. I am hoping that this relationship and characters develop more in the second book of this series. There are a few relationship endings in this book too, some come as a shock, some are expected. Some names come up that you will recognise too.
On the whole, this is an intriguing tale that still has loads more to tell in the next two books.

Lee KM Pallatina (951 KP) rated Encanto (2021) in Movies

Madrigals are afamily who live an extraordinary life hidden from the rest of the world in a little village called Encanto.
Encanto has given the children in the family with a unique power, except Mirabel. However, she soon may be their last hope when she breaks in the bedroom of "banished/missing" family member Bruno (who we don't talk about) and discovers that he left behind a prophecy and a powerless answer to her no magic self.
Time is running out as the magic Provided the Encanto is now in danger.
A great story in all, fun musical numbers and change from usual to characteristics in gender roles and another nice mix of colour design.
