A great collection of radio dramas from their second season around. It also introduces Blackgaard. I couldn't stop listening and about had theme memorized I listened to them so much as a kid.

"I’ve got a weird story about when I first heard “Good Vibrations”. I was really scared of going to the dentist and my Mum had made me this appointment. I was literally terrified, we were sitting in the waiting room, there was a radio and “Good Vibrations” came on. Then they called my name to go into the dentist and I was still really scared, but at the same time this beautiful thing was coming out of the speakers “When I went in, they had the radio on in there as well. It was absolutely mad and my emotions were on edge, but I just couldn’t get over hearing that song. I don’t know if it was because I was in that situation and really hyped up emotionally, but every time I hear that song I remember that feeling. “It really stuck with me and obviously when I hear it now, it’s such a brilliant record, but it’s great that you can hear something that brilliant when you’re sitting in a waiting room, in a place where you’d hardly expect to have a musical revelation. “It’s funny how you used to listen to the radio more back in those days. I wouldn’t have had the ready cash to go out and buy “Good Vibrations”, so I’d just listen to the radio until it came on. People did that more, you’d have little transistor radios everywhere and you’d be waiting for your favourite music to come on, and when something came on you loved you’d turn it up"

"When I was a kid I heard all this strange electronic music that came from Germany on pirate radio and on the Peel show and it seemed like music from another planet and I wanted it. Then one afternoon I was listening to Radio 1 and Annie Nightingale played one whole side of Rubycon and it was life changing. I said to her, many years later, "that was incredible!" and she said, "oh John used to do that all the time, he was the first to do that." But it was like Annie became a pirate for one moment and took over the whole of Radio 1. That meant a lot. That was the spirit of making music to me. You do what feels right. If you want to play half an hour, you do it and accept the consequences but you have to do what the music tells you to do. Tangerine Dream made these extraordinary, electronic soundscapes. Is it an animal or is it a machine? Tangerine Dream crossed over that a lot. And then Annie played the entire side and blew my head."

Just Keeps Getting Better
With Pink you count on being real - as in she is what she is and if you don't like it then so what. This album is excellent as it links with her previous work yet keeping up-to-date with what is playing on the radio. Let their be more Pink.

A good ride
I listened to all songs on this album even though some weren't in my taste. I found it most enjoyable to listen to the songs that aren't 'overplayed' on the radio stations I listen to, and those seem to pop out more as the gems of the album. Give it a listen.

There's something very special about this album. It hit me at just the right time. I remember hearing The Space Between on the radio late and night and not being able to locate it the next morning. I got obsessed for months until I eventually found it, and the rest was, as they say, history.

'Woman who is already in relationship hears a man's voice on radio and travels across country to follow him and his small child around.'
Would make a much better thriller. She should have thrown him off the empire state building.

David Sedaris—Live for your listening pleasure (Audio)
Genre: Radio show
Rating: 4/5

David Sedaris tells story after humorous story, always pulling laughs from his audience (the audio recording is live). This short collection of memoir-esque stories will keep you laughing the whole way through.

The recording features four stories and several diary entries that are sure to have you grinning at the least and crying from laughing at the most.

Content: There was some mild language and some sexual references. Not for the easily offended.

Recommendation: Ages 18+ to anyone who enjoys radio shows, comedy, or just needs a good laugh and a break from reality.

I am not sure why I didn't start reading this sooner, but I highly enjoyed it!

I loved getting to see more of what JRR Tolkien wanted than was put in the film trilogy. Honestly, if you want something awesome, listen to one of the radio teleplays, it will give you so much more than the films.

This is still my favourite of all the GTA games. It was just so much fun to play! The right balance of serious story and silly little things you could do.
The soundtrack has a load of great 80s hits, plus a few tracks made for the game. The inspired bit though were the ads - Blox, that kills germs... and everything else! Musty Pines old people's home, Giggle Cream - all just so funny! Also the talk radio, which is not something I'd usually listen to in real life, but did occasionally in game because it was so fun.

If there was any game I wish they did a remake of (keeping the same quests etc but modern graphics), this would be it.
