A Carpenter Masterpiece

With an excellent eerie score, chilling suspenseful tone, realistic grounded acting, unforgettable quotable dialog, and genius inventive camera work. John Carpenter's classic slasher about a boogeyman possessed escaped inmate stalking babysitters on All Hallows Eve has been a huge inspiration for slasher films in generally. Not mention it spawned 7 sequels, a remake with a sequel, and a reboot. But after all these years John Carpenter's original Halloween still stands tall above the rest. A masterpiece!

Cast chemistry

Great easy viewing

The 2nd series of the reboot of the 80's show. Pretty much exactly the same as the first series. It has a good mix of action, great stunts, shootouts and car chases in the Ferrari against the back drop of beautiful Hawaii. The cast chemistry is really good and each episode is genuinely well written. Since Hawaii 5o has finished this has filled the void for some easy, escapism viewing.

Reboot/continuation of the original 1990s Quantum Leap, which gets off to a slow start but does improve as things go along.

There are still some things that annoy me that I wish they would address, such as the lack of the Waiting Room and how come just about anyone can seemingly get into the Imaging chamber, but all in all it is an enjoyable enough watch once you get past the first couple of episodes.

At first, I wasn't sure if I'd like the new reboot of Josie and the Pussycats. I love Archie comics, but some of the new stuff hasn't been the best.
Luckily, they had the writing talents of Marguerite Bennett ,who is one of my favorite comic book writers.
I loved that Melody is still a little ditzy, but very intelligent. She became my favorite character throughout. Overall, the volume was a lot of fun, and I'm glad I read it.
