I really liked this.

It drove me mad in places and made me want to cry/actually cry several times towards the end but it was such a lovely story with characters I grew to really like (hence the crying when things weren't going so well).

They were different; one a jock, the other a theatre major. One out and so proud, the other not so much.

Reading their relationship develop over time was really great and I loved it. It was sweet at times and kinda heart-breaking at others but in the end everything worked out, which is always good in a book.

I look forward to reading more books by the author

Season Two of True Blood is probably one of my favorite seasons. I feel like the storytelling was complex and interesting enough to hold my attention better.
The best part of this season was learning more about Eric, and his relationship with Godric. The next best story line is Jason's, with him joining the crazy, fundamentalist church. It was hilarious because it was so true to life.
I'm not a huge fan of Tara or Arlene in general, so those were the sections of the eps that I found tedious.
Of course, this season ends with a huge and intriguing cliff-hanger, and you have to prepare to meet the newest supernatural species in the next season.

Read the book first

Made the very big mistake of watching the movie before I knew of the books existence, so the storyline was not unfamiliar to me... However I do stand my view that a film based on a novel, rarely lives up to its literary starting point. In this case it was definitely true, whilst the movie was well casted and well acted, Yoon’s novel was wonderfully fresh and gives real in head insight into Maddy and Olly and the development of their relationship!
Well worded and written it allows you to imagine and form your own images from the words on the pages. Loved it. Will be ordering more from Nicola Yoon.

Movie Rating Watch

Honestly, this might be my favorite of the three! I have a friend who said I shouldn't watch this one and for the life of me, I can't figure out why. I really enjoyed it! I love Michael J. Fox and Marty even more. I love Mart and Doc's relationship and that each of the stories felt fresh but still like they belonged together. I love the history that's in the film between the Tannen's and the McFly's - I think it makes for a well-rounded story through all the films.

I'm super glad I watched these, especially now when I can understand a lot more about what's happening and the different nuances. Definitely a good film!
