So I kind of love this series. But I will put a note that it is super religious. And I mean if you don’t like books that push belief in God and his plan, probably just don’t read. If you can get past that it’s a solid idea that is just a great read. See below for a prize pack picture( authors can be awesome).

Should you read? Can you get past the religious obsessed book? Then probably. It’s a good after life after story that has a pretty awesome romance. But again it’s all about following and belief in God as the underlying theme.

You really get a sense of the turmoil that affects many young people who come from households with strict religious beliefs, torn between what their family want and what they want.

I really enjoyed this book and am compelled to read some of the other author's works. Morgan Llywelyn brings the ancient world to life with descriptions of their daily lives and homes, but also delving into their religious and spiritual beliefs, which helps bring their lost cultures to life.

Odd gothic thriller
The last part was the best part of this entire novel. Incredibly slow to start and for a very long time the religious subplot seemed pointless. There's also a lot of holes in the story like what happened to the baby's mother? Feel like it's been overhyped.

Way too religious (0 more)
Not for me
A) I don't believe in God, so the idea behind the book seemed to me rather ridiculous.
B) Not enough action. Call me mean, but for me a book needs some sort of hook, and there was none.
I found it really, really boring.

The book has a hook a quite huge one but of course books about religion beleifs are not for everyone

Sztokman's extremely compelling study of the growing worldwide phenomenon of the marginalization of women uses Israel as its test case to prove how religious fundamentalism is more insidious than we can imagine. Read my review of this excellent book here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/09/16/the-masters-of-misogyny/

Provides a great depth of research on the current educational system in Australia (1 more)
Acknowledges the validity of a plethora of religious traditions rather than just the prominent Christianity
Is in a sense repetitive and dry through its explanations of the nations educational and religious landscapes (0 more)
Deepening understanding can never hurt
Overall, I found this book to be insightful not only in relation to the nations current educational situation but also in the way that we, as a society, tend to treat religion. I believe that this is a book that is better read a chapter or two at a time rather than in one sitting due to the depth of research contained within its pages.

This was a very interesting read. It is a compilation of, primarily, two essays directed at the women of the Restoration and Revolution period in London, England. While it mainly speaks to women to be more free in their religions, it also talks about women's political freedoms. This seems to be an early feminist essay which calls to give women more power over their lives.

I did enjoy the first essay more than I did the second because the second got a lot more religious and quite repetitive. But it was still interesting.

If you are interested in early feminist lit or in religious literature, check this book out. I think you would thoroughly enjoy it.

This is a religious based movie, but I think anyone would enjoy it. While the religious beliefs of the main characters play an important role in the movie many of the underlying themes stand out drastically. This movie also deals with moving forward after a tragedy, and being aware of ones own privilege. Even though each of the three families live drastically different lives they all had struggles that they had to overcome. Watching each family connect with one another and overcome challenges made this an overall enjoyable movie. This movie also shows that the world is truly a small place, with many of the events being almost unbelievable.
