I wasnt a huge fan of the original movie, however with the Coens onboard for the remake I was expecting good things.
All the signs were there and with usual Coen style this western was a move back to times of great storytelling and beautiful vistas.
With great dialogue and stunning performances from all players, this turned out to be very enjoyable.

"Christopher Nolan’s American remake was perfectly fine, but it still couldn’t capture the gut-twisting oppressiveness of Erik Skjoldbjaerg’s original. Anchored by Stellan Skarsgard’s impeccable portrayal of a man drowning in his own sins, this is the neonoir that truly turned noir on its head: darkness becomes something you pray for, while light is a straight razor that’s found entrance to your brain."

Scared the hell out of me

As a kid, the original Blob scared the hell out of me. You couldn't kill it! Well, jump forward to this remake & it scared the hell out of me again. This one is much more gruesome & creepy. I still like it to this day. Hell, who doesn't like to be scared once in a while?
