So, My reviews aren't really long because I use the app more than the website and I have so much trouble typing on a phone anyway...

I really, really like this series!

My stepmom wants me to branch out of middle school books hence The Selection, The Twisted Tales, and the Disney Villians series. Browsing Amazon for quarantine reads I remembered the Gallagher Girls a series recommended to me in high school. I owned books three and five (Long story) so I hunted down the rest. I'll be honest, it isn't often that I dislike a book and this trend continues! I'm head-over-heels in love with Gallagher girls!

Told from Cammie's POV her little quips and 'fast-facts about the world drew me in and made me devour the first book and this one. It was amazing, it was intense, a nice roller-coaster ride and I can't wait to see where the next one goes (Already on chapter five)

Yes, I recommend the book!

So this is not my usual genre, but all the rave reviews plus a few recommendations from friends led me to read it.

The writing is so immersive, Marie- Laure's blindness allows for Anthony Doerr to really up the descriptive language and this truely helped bring the streets of Paris and Saint Malo to life for me. I love her relationship with her friends and family too.

I did not take as much of a liking to Warner, I'm not sure if this is due to the writing style changing slightly during his storyline.

The flicking between time frames is quite frustrating and I personally feel unnecessary. I found the middle third very long and slow. Plus the last third was underwhelming because it became obvious how they would meet 150 pages before they do.

I disliked that there meeting was so fleeting but I lived the simple circularity of the whole story.

Author Gorman Hardy is hot on the trail of another bestseller and if half what's said about Malcasa Point is true, he's bound to make a killing. Petite and pretty Tyler and sexy Nora visit Malcasa full of expectation. But Malcasa Point is a place of pain, bestiality and death in The Beast House.

Well I have to say it’s 100% better than The Cellar! I can see from other reviews a lot of people agree on it. I found myself enjoying this. It was a classic horror in my opinion and there’s nothing wrong with a bit of classic. I enjoyed the captains story on Bobo it was very King Kong based except this was a rampant rabbit monster gone wild! A bit of cheese to keep a girl who loves horror happy.

A writer forms an unexpected bond with the residents of Guernsey Island in the aftermath of World War II, when she decides to write a book about their experiences during the war.

This one was a nice harmless kind of movie. Not one I'd feel compelled to see again, but enjoyable.

Before I went off to see this one I was read some comments on it from the Times. The assessment from their point of view was that this one won the award for “absolutely no screen chemistry whatsoever”. This is why I don't read reviews before I go. There was some awkwardness between the main characters, but had I not had that in my mind before going then I wouldn't have noticed. That awkwardness was entirely appropriate for the position that the pair were in.

There's nothing too objectionable about the Guernsey movie, apart from the long and unwieldy title it has inherited from the book. I just can't find anything more to say about it.

Hey everyone been a bit light on reviews over the past week as my cinema hasn't had anything yet that I haven't already seen.

Have no fear joker is out this week so look forward to a review on that very soon.

In the mean time if you haven't seen my film of the year midsommar check out my review and then have a look at this that I found on the Italian Amazon site.

Sadly there is no 4k release in the Uk so when I saw this I didn't care about the price I just had to pre-order it straight away (4k discs are region free). This isn't me trying to sell anything or trying to get commission I'm just simply saying this film is an absolute masterpiece and if your a film or horror fan a must see and with such a clean and bright colour pallet theres no other way than 4k to experience it.
