I loved this book because of the subject it deals with. Very rarely are we given a good girl willing to do bad things to make their situation. Usually, the heroine is a hard-working woman with strict morals. While Emily is a hard-working young woman, she is tired of working so hard and not getting anywhere. She is tired of being poor. Enter Eric, an equally hard-working American man who wants to be able to live his dream of being a photographer while still debtor’s prisoner.

In each other, they see a way to achieve their dreams and embark on a journey that doesn’t exactly turn out how they imagine. They didn’t dream of falling for each other.

The novel doesn’t show their lives in a glamorous way. In fact, it shows them how they really are as they struggle with their situations. What I loved the most was the development of their relationship. Romance novels where the couple is suddenly in love is annoying on so many levels. In </i>Mistress</i>, the reader watches them want each other and eventually fall for each other. Of course, there are many bumps along the way.

Scarlett doesn't remember anything before the age of four, which she doesn't find too unsettling, until, as a teen, a car accident jars her memory and makes her start wondering what happened to her as a kid. Around the same time as her accident, Scarlett meets Noah, a new kid to town, and falls for him immediately. Noah tries to help Scarlett remember her past, but does he have her best intentions at heart?

Not really sure how to explain this book. The story itself is odd - another quick teenage romance, with a cult thrown in! However, it is oddly compelling in its own strange way - I read the book in about a day or so. The writing is rather silly and disjointed at times and the plot seems unbelievable. It's not even the cult aspect, per se. It seems weird that Scarlett focuses so much on not being able to remember things before the age of four (is that really so strange)? The end of the book ties up awfully easily, without much semblance or adherence to legal niceties. All in all, while the book moves quickly, not sure it's worth that little amount of time.

(Note: I received an copy of this book from Netgalley in return for an unbiased review.)

It tell about romance and in love. But I will let you decide If you want to pick it up and want to read. Just because I like to read about Civil War a bit does not mean you would not to so you may decide that you want so I will let you decide for yourself. Now if I were asked I recommend this book for sure.

I give this book a 3.5-4 stars.

I did not like this book as much as I did the first novel, Red Queen. I think this is because it is the second book, and a lot of times, the second book is meh.

I feel like the characters did not develop much from the first book. It may have been because the narrator Mare was skewing the other characters, but it just didn't do it for me I guess. The new characters were cool, but we didn't get to know them enough, in my opinion. I did not feel attached to any of them.

I did like how the plot was moving along. I think it developed very well and has introduced a lot of things that we will get to adventure through in the next book to come. There were some pretty cool moments in battles and some turns that I didn't see coming, so that was really nice. And I especially loved the ending.

There wasn't much of the romance, but it did get very angsty for quite a bit of the story.

I am excited for the next book to come out to see what will happen to the characters! I honestly think the next book will be amazing!

This novel is told in both the present and in ancient Celtic times, both storylines taking place in the same locale. In present day Wales, following the death of her husband, Tilda moves into the house that she and Matt had purchased to start their new life in together. After spending some time alone in her cottage, Tilda starts to experience strange things, and finds a new sort of power developing inside her. In ancient times, we hear the story of Seren, a shaman and seer to a Celtic Prince who lived on a man-made island in the middle of the lake near Tilda's cottage.

Each story on its is intriguing. We know early on that there is a connection between the two women, but it takes longer for Tilda to realize why she feels such an affinity for the lake and the area around her new home. By the time she does, her life and the life of her new love may be in more danger than she can handle.

This book has a little bit of everything. Historical fiction, fantasy, suspense, and a touch of romance. I highly recommend this one if you are a fan of any of those genres.

One of my favorite romances
This is the second time that I have read this book and honestly it is even better than I can remember. Samantha Young has a way with creating a world that you just step into. I first picked this book up in 2012 when I was looking for a cheap read. It was only a few dollars at that time and I couldn't put it down. Joss & Braden are wonderful characters that are sure to make you swoon. Joss is a kick ass girl who has some pretty big issues going on in her life. I loved that she sought help for her issues & I loved how Samantha Young was able to portray therapy in such a positive light. I loved the banter between Joss & Braden and I just loved each and every character that was introduced.

The plot kept me on my toes. I never knew if I was going to laugh, cry or roll my eyes in frustration. This is honestly my favorite romance that I have read. If you haven't read Samantha Young, you're truly missing out. She quickly became one of my favorite authors and has yet to disappoint me. The characters, the plot, literally everything about this book is beautiful.

The kind of book you're enjoying so much that you can't wait to finish it but at the same time will hate to see it end, author Katherine Center managed to such a feat in How to Walk Away.

While as a disabled individual, I'm often disappointed by the way that popular culture portrays disabled characters as either saintly, pitiable, or evil, I was impressed by the way that Center creates a fully three dimensional heroine who goes through a wide range of emotions after surviving a horrific plane crash.

And although on the surface, the thought of adding a romantic comedy subplot to the novel seemed way out of left field, because Center kept the protagonist so firmly grounded in reality, it wound up working really well.

The second recent upbeat romance involving a disabled lead to be chosen as an official selection by Book of the Month alongside Helen Hoang's sexier title The Kiss Quotient, while some of the contrivances in How to Walk Away's final fifty or so pages move it into cliched romcom territory, it's such a sweet, well-earned finale that it's easy to forgive.

A terrific disabled centric beach read, this one will walk away with your heart.

Book Review: A Royal Christmas Wedding by Rachel Hauch Book Title: A Royal Christmas Wedding Author:&nbsp;Rachel HauchGenres: Christmas, Romance,Series: Royal WeddingPublisher:&nbsp;ZondervanPublish Date:&nbsp;2016-10-18 (240 Pages, Paperback)
&nbsp;
Avery Truitt is someone who was going to college to be a professional volleyball player. 5 years before she meet Prince Colin when she was with her sister Susanna went to Cathedral City. What ever happen to Avery and Colin?
&nbsp;
Susanna has invited both her sister and mother to Brington Kingdom for the Christmas season. Will their mother get over their father&rsquo;s death? There appear someone brings Avery and Colin together at every turn. Will Colin father help or harm Colin? The old bell rings and who has pulled it and rung it?
&nbsp;
People do not believe that god had pulled the 600 pound bell that started ringing and bring all people to the where the accident of Prince Michael died. I love that fact that there is a meaning and some true relationship trouble and Hauck shows that in each story in The Royal Wedding Series? She let the characters work it out their own problems. She does not rush them. Rachel Hauck does well with the plot and her writing is wonderful as well.

Book Tour: Whispers by SeaSide - Review Whispers by Seaside&nbsp;is a good book. Though for me it I think it was more romance than liked but it was not bad. It was written well. I enjoyed it involved the family but it seems like this was more Matt&rsquo;s story then Mira.It had a lot to do with Matt and Mira getting together more. Matt is reconnecting with his family. He is also getting involved in Hagen&#039;s and Mira&#039;s lives more. I am hoping to see more of Matt building relationships with his family more. I know he was building a relationship with Hagen throughout the book then with Mira. I would have like to see the relationship of the build up with Mira throughout the book. I know we did see a part of it.We hear more about these wedding that are taking place in this book. I would have been nice to find out more about Matt and his family more and their loves ones. Mira seems to worry more about her future and about Hagen&#039;s.Will it last? Will Matt stay at his job or will he leave it? You will need to read the book to find out.

One of the best books I read this summer
Best book I’ve read in months! Humanarium by C. W. Tickner is an imaginative, well told story. I love the characters and the plot shows depth on many levels. The book is complete with heroes, bad guys, unfamiliar worlds, excitement, and just a dollop of romance. I also appreciate very much how Mr. Tickner incorporates unity among humans who are sometimes quite different from one another into the story. Some scenes were especially good, such as the return journey thru Drew’s tank. Movie worthy, indeed!

Parts of the story remind me of how humans often keep wild animals as pets for their personal enjoyment when they would be much better off left in their own environment. You’ll see why when you read it...no spoilers from me!

I’m left just intrigued enough to get me to want to read the next book. Going into more detail would give away too much, but there are some mysteries that I hope will be answered in books to follow. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to Mr. Tickner’s next release! All in all, I found Humanarium to be thoroughly fascinating and enjoyable and give it a rating of 4.7/5 ⭐️
