"I was talking about this the other day. We were talking about best romantic comedies, and what falls into that category. The love story that develops between Andie MacDowell and Bill Murray is incredible. How they really do fall in love makes it a rom-com at its heart. Even though it’s this really high concept movie, it’s such a beautiful little love story at the same time. So good."

I like that obsolete terms such as “forgotten man”—which in this case refers to the homeless William Powell—can live on forever in the movies along with the stars who utter them. Thankfully, New York no longer has Hoovervilles, but I regret that the madcap Manhattan socialite seems to be an extinct species."

Just finished watching this on Netflix. Most of it I remember from reading the book only we got a proper ending in this film unlike the book which didn't go anywhere. We actually get a HEA for the love birds.

I loved Peter in this and Lara Jean was very likeable, she has such an expressive face.


If you like teenage romantic films then this is a pretty good one.

Exceeded Expectations
Actually laughed out loud at bits, interesting all the way through and it doesn't take forever for something to happen.
Feel the cast were absolutely perfect, especially Jack Whitehall.
Wasn't a huge fan of the romantic element, felt forced really.
Definitely worth a watch.
