Wasnt expecting much from this to be honest and not much was what I got.A storyline that must have thought up in 5 minutes and a wimpy ass kid playing shafts son were the worst parts of this film.Only Sam Jackson saved it from being a complete and utter mess.

An unlikely pairing of Ryan renalds and sam l Jackson carry thus paint by numbers buddy movie ,with a great supporting cast like Gary Oldman and selma hayek this is a good film in which the trailers let it down which is unusual as the normal use the best bit for trailers

It's a very unlikely pairing that works really well.
Ferrell is back to his funny self here which has been missing of late, I'm looking at you Sherlock Holmes...
Forced to work together they are hilarious and with Cameos from The Rock and Sam Jackson this was a comedy that somehow made it under the radar...I'm a peacock and I gotta fly..

Pulp Fiction (1994)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
1994 | Crime

"That was in 1994. That was right around the time I was finishing college and moving to California, in that period of my life, and I was secretly interested in the entertainment business but didn’t tell anybody. There was something about the writing and the music and John Travolta’s resurgence. Sam Jackson was just a badass motherf—er. I love Tarantino’s writing."

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
2001 | Adventure, Fantasy

"I’d put The Fellowship of the Ring in there. I just think Peter Jackson did a fantastic job with the movie, and I loved those books. It’s one of those things where, reading the books, and getting so excited about them, and just praying that the movie did it justice. And it totally did, to me. Plus, the relationship between Frodo and Sam, and Gollum, and all of that. I loved it. I’m also a huge fan of The Chronicles of Narnia, and I had the opposite experience with that, where it just didn’t click like it did with The Lord of the Rings. So I just loved what Peter Jackson did with that."

A boring retelling of a story we have all heard before
I fell asleep watching this, in the cinema, which is something that I never do. Don’t bother with this one, the performances are lazy, Margot Robbie is a rubbish Jane, Alexander Skarrsgard looks great as Tarzan until he opens his mouth and Sam Jackson and Cristoph Waltz just play the parts that you would expect them to play. The movie hits all the beats you would expect it to and although I only saw the beginning and end of the movie, that was plenty. Totally unremarkable and forgettable.

It's the right amount of dark and gritty with a decent performance from Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson! (0 more)
Traps aren't all that imaginative, the social justice angle is all over the place and it is a little too far removed from the tried and proven SAW formula!10 (0 more)
Flawed but enjoyable!
It's been a little more than 10 years since the death of John Kramer aka The Jigsaw Killer! A new killer emerges from the shadows, with a very different agenda and is hellbent on continuing Jigsaw's legacy. Detective Zeke Banks is assigned to the case and finds himself thrust into a vast conspiracy involving the dark deeds of the corrupt system he once swore to protect!

In reality the killer is very uninspired, the traps are not as elegantly designed and there is very little of the SAW DNA present in the film. The main reasons to watch SPIRAL are Chris Rock and Sam Jackson!
