Sarah was married to Peter Troyer and was expecting a child. Her husband worked at the Kauffman and Yodler Furniture store. There as an terrible fire at the furniture store and Peter died in it. Sarah is grieving for her husband and moves back in to her parents home. Her parents are trying to love and support their grieving daughter.She find out later that she is expecting twins and she is still sad for they will not know their dad.
Luke Troyer is shocked to find out that his family member is dead, and that he was still Amish, and that he had a family. Even more dismaying to Luke is the jealousy he feels because Peter had this wonderful family. He finds himself very attracted to Peter's widow, and is sure that is not a good thing, but he just cannot deny that attraction.
A wonderful story of how good can come from the ashes of sorrow and pain. Each book in this series just has you longing for the next one.

When Sarahs friend Rose decides to personally deliver a purchase from the shop, she sees what she believes is a murder being committed. Minutes later she is knocked unconscious. The police refuse to believe she saw anything, and assume that she either imagined it or her head injury may be causing her to believe she saw something she did not. Sarah and Roses other friends come together to help her find the truth.
This was a great cozy, full of family, friends, cats, and clues. Its a large cast of characters to keep track of, but each one has their place in the story and helps to create a feeling of community. You can jump right in with this book and have no trouble following the story or characters, but I do plan to go back to the beginning so I can get the full story on some of the interpersonal relationships. Plus, Im always a sucker for a cover with a cat on it!

Detective Sergeant Frank Malloy arrives at the scene of Dr. Edmund Blackwell’s death thinking it is a suicide. However, as soon as he views it, he realizes it was murder. By that point, he’s already involved midwife Sarah Brandt as she is attending the dead man’s wife, who has gone into labor from the shock. Dr. Blackwell was a magnetic healer, bring relief to people suffering from pain. Who would want to kill a man like that?
And just like that, we are once again traveling back in time to 1890’s New York City. The book really does a great job of bringing the time and place to life. Frank and Sarah are fantastic main characters who share the sleuthing and page time as our third person point of view characters. The mystery is sharp with plenty of secrets to be uncovered. I thought I had it figured out early, but I was missing a big piece of the puzzle.

What an enthralling read!
Sarah will inherit a small fortune and a grand house IF she is able to solve the mystery of the disappearance of her late aunt's best friend something neither her aunt or the Police were able to do in over 30 years ... Sarah has 6 months and if she fails, it all goes to the Conservative Party!!!
This book is full of interesting characters; most of which are not particularly likeable but this works really well with the story and brings up all manner of likely suspects. The setting of Craigsmoor Manor is wonderfully described and creates additional atmosphere and a creeping sense of foreboding.
The plot is intriguing and very engaging and although it's a slow burn, the author keeps you gripped by his excellent story telling and I would definitely recommend to those who love a great mystery.

I thought this book would ruin the Throne of Glass series as Chaol was one of my least favourite characters up to that point but it astounded me in being really gripping, following both chaols problems as well as Nesryn and new character Yrene Towers who are both far more interesting characters than Chaol in my opinion. As always Sarah J Maas writes beautifully with plots you could never hope to see coming. Can't wait for the next installment in the series.

Not as transparent as the title
While not as good as Split it's still a very good above average thriller, James Mcavoy excels as the main baddy carrying up to ten different characters, I love Sarah Paulson but you'll hate her character at the end of this , Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson both play their roles with great gusto ,all in all a great film let down by tge ending

A 90's throwback blast from the past I hadn't seen in a very longtime. Looking at it now it's a fairly formulaic slasher movie that wouldn't have been made if writer Kevin Williamson hadn't had a huge hit with Scream the year before. It has some fun moments but is light on any real scares. I had forgotten how easy on the eye Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar were though so I was largely kept entertained throughout.

There is so much wrong with this book, and not just because it features a victim of child sex trafficking as the protagonist. The story of JT LeRoy is more interesting than Sarah. LeRoy doesn't exist. The person writing these books was a white woman in her forties. However, she claimed to be someone like the character in this book: a male or intersex child prostitute raised by a drug addicted mother. The media EXPLODED over this. Garbage wrote a song about these characters ("Cherry Lips" on Beautiful Garbage); Asia Argento adapted Sarah into an unsuccessful film, and Gus Van Sant designed the cover! When it came time to make a media appearance, she hired her sister-in-law, who was kind of masculine, to portray the "character" of JT LeRoy.
Thing is, this book is basically Hogg by Samuel Delaney. He's a gay man who wrote a similar book three months before the Stonewall Riots. It's full of anger and rage, and it's more depraved and weird than anything LeRoy could conjure up. The parallels are clear: both feature underage protagonists who are largely nameless and passive, used for sexual purposes, usually at the hands of truck drivers. And Hogg is better in every way. It punches you in the face, where Sarah pulls back at the last second.
Is the story fun to read? Sure, in a sick kind of way. But the fact that it was done before, and better, and by someone who lives in the LGBT community, makes it hard for me to stomach. As it is, this feels like LGBT fanfiction.

It's full of anger and rage, and it's more depraved and weird than anything LeRoy could conjure up. I was originally drawn to the series after reading the synopsis, and was hooked in the first 10 minutes. The story centres around Sarah, who assumes the identity of a woman who looks identical to her, trying to escape her own troublesome past, but instead finding she has just stepped into more trouble. As the story develops, we find out that they are actually clones of each other, and are not alone in the world.
The plot thickens quickly as the series develops, becoming more sinister as Sarah tries to protect her foster family and young daughter. In all, I could the plot line unique and refreshing in comparison to what is currently out their.
The clones are played by Tatiana Maslany, who acts each one individually, the fact that she is able to demonstrate a clear identity of several characters at the same time, is a credit to her acting career.
The show itself does have a lot of drama, suspense and a little violence throughout the series, however it never takes itself too seriously, with regular breaks to add a little light heartedness into the show. The clone Alison/ soccer mom, in particular adds an air of humour to the show, particularly with her turbulent relationship with her husband and the stark contrast between herself and Sarah.
The series itself is worthy of a complete box set binge, and is definitely not one that you want to stop until the very end. This has made it to my list of favourite TV shows of all time.
