One of the best B movies of all time
I first saw this film as a midnight movie (back when those were a thing) when I worked at the cinema. I would pop in occasionally to check on the crowd and I was always amazed at what I saw and how much the audience was getting into it and laughing hysterically.

This is one of those films you can't explain to someone without it sounds utterly idiotic, but is just a lot of fun with some good horror thrown in.

Trust me when I say you will love it!

I saw this movie last week in IMAX 3D for the Marvel Studios 10 film festival.
I remember really disliking the film when I saw it the first time. For two reasons, one, I thought Hemsworth was super corny in parts of the movie as Thor, and two, his EYEBROWS. I get distracted easily, so when something is off, it bothers me throughout the film.

This is a fairly normal origin story of Thor. The visual effects are stunning, and seeing it in 3D was really cool, especially when they were on Jotunheim.

My favorite parts were most scenes with Hiddleston's Loki, and Dennings' Darcy.

"I could've picked anything by Roxy but Siren is just incredible; there isn't a bad track on the whole thing. That album was the last before they went lounge. The suits came a bit later. On Siren he was still dressed like an army guy - well, a cub scout without the hat on. I never saw Roxy live until 2001 though - I only ever saw them on the telly. 'Love Is A Drug' and 'Both Ends Burning' are great singles, they had so much oomph. And 'Whirlwind'- what a song - just a hugely consistent record from start to finish. Very well played and very well produced."

"One of the first ones on my list would have to be Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, just because I really look up to Alfred Hitchcock and what he did as a director. What’s so funny is that I never really knew the big reveal. After all these years, I’d never known the reveal. So when I saw it, I was genuinely shocked and freaked out by what I just saw. So it was really fun to be able to not have that kind of secret be revealed to me before and let me be surprised. It was a really great film and I really enjoyed it."

"I have to say, there’s never been a film by Buñuel that I didn’t like and that hasn’t moved me very deeply, that didn’t make me laugh and probably cry too. The first time I saw this I remember being confused but thrilled, and I wondered what the point of the absurdity was. But when I saw it again, I realized that the film wasn’t absurd at all—it was about the absurdity of life, but it wasn’t absurd. It was a completely reasonable, intelligent, and clever film that was making fun of how ridiculous we are. It’s hilarious, and it shows very elegantly how stupid we can be."

"I saw it when I was a young man in Philadelphia, and I became obsessed with R. Crumb. He reminded me a lot of my father—especially in the way he dealt with the weirdness of sexuality. And he was kind of depraved. Crumb is this beautiful portrait of this man teetering on the edge of madness, but Zwigoff makes him so sympathetic. Maryse Alberti does beautiful camera work that makes you feel like you’re in this guy’s world in a way that’s so intimate and lovely. After I saw it I spent all of my bar mitzvah money on Crumb comics, which was disappointing for my mother."

"And then for something light and fluffy I would have to say Trading Places (laughing). Hilarious. Light, and fun, and hilarious, and a lot of laughs. I had to throw one comedy in there. I remember the first time I saw it — I don’t remember exactly where I was; I was young — I think the first time I saw Trading Places I was 15 years old, 16 years old, something like that. Eddie Murphy was just in his comedic prime; I think he came off Saturday Night Live not long before that. It’s absolutely a great premise and really funny, really enjoyable. I just loved it."

I really enjoyed Blade Runner 2049. It was complex, the soundtrack was perfect with the scenes, and staring at Ryan Gosling for nearly 3 hours wasn't too bad either. I saw it in IMAX, it was visually stunning.
My one gripe... Jared Leto... His acting was eye-roll inducing.

Quite funny
Quirky tale
I saw this on the BBC a while back. It's quite odd and funny at the same time. An everyday day teenager makes a starterling discovery when he can see the spirits of the dead. Worth a watch if you like supernatural stories.
