Cool creatures
I preferred this more than the last one to be honest. Although that might be because I saw it at IMAX in 3D. The 3D elements work really well and add to the sense of being in the action, seeing the guns popping right out of the screen. There is plenty of action and at last some more of the important characters from the games make an appearance. Once again this doesn't really tie into any of the game stories. The story in the film is very weak to say the least. However as a 3D roller coaster ride for the eyes, it's an entertaining action film.

Old gods are the most interesting gods
I read the book by Gaiman a long time ago and am working my way through it again. Saw that the series was out and, even though I'm only two episodes in, I'm loving it. Ian McShane was an excellent choice for Mr. Wedensday and the fellow playing Shadow (can't remember his name atm) is amazing. Hoping we get to see more of the leprechaun. The depictions of the various gods so far has been really interesting. Very interested in seeing how this season goes.

What can I say about Good Omens that hasn't be said before... I just loved this book from first to last page and really just couldn't get myself to put it down.

I bought this book on a whim after I saw it mentioned a few times and really didn't even read what it was supposed to be about when I did sit down to read it so I can honestly say I was blown away. The setting, the characters, and the plot everything just worked so well together and made for a completely enjoyable and mind blowing read.

I won an Advance Reader's Edition of this book from the publisher, St. Martin's Press, via Goodreads giveaway. Thank you!

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I've been reading Nora Roberts for what seems like my entire life, and she consistently creates stories and characters that I fall completely in love with. This story grabbed me immediately and wouldn't let go. I saw another reviewer use the phrase "heartbreaking and beautiful," and I could not agree more. The characters are complex and interesting, and interact so well with each other that you almost feel like you're eavesdropping.

Also: I want to live and work on the Bodine Ranch & Resort. :)

This sweet little book, that gives brief details of the transcontinental journey, coast to coast all set in beautiful images that wouldn't look out of place on rail posters. This book is a joy to read. The details are to the point and give information that perhaps only the hardened American train enthusiast would already know. Several pieces sent me to the internet to search out more information and images to see what they looked like now. The imagery is stylised and in keeping with the between war period that saw rail travel such a big thing in the US. A lover of rail or someone who enjoys this artistic style needs to view this book.

Great for any and all podcasts
New to the podcast scene and was looking for an allrounder that didn't exclude any podcasts.
Since getting the app I have searched for the conventional and the more obscure and found some that I might not have thought of.
Once I have listened to a few different ones I will certainly review them individually.
As the description above states, you can download the podcasts to your device for offline listening (save your data)
I trust the Google apps so downloaded this app as soon as I saw it existed and was available.
Looking forward to exploring the world of podcasts, thanks for reading.

Yet another book I waited so long for that ended up not being all that great. Ian Mortimer is a historian, so when I saw he was writing a novel, I was intrigued.
Well, the result was just ok. Two brothers end up catching the plague and get to live their last 6 days, 99 years in the future each day. The novel normally focuses on the changing customs, clothing, and it's deeply focused on religion. It was alright with me, but it's probably not what people thought they'd be getting into while reading this. I would deem this whole book as a sort of religious mediation. Overall, just kind of meh and a let down for me.

I loved this! I got so excited when I saw the thirteen questions about Lemony Snicket that were being asked, and I loved it even more when I discovered that they were being answered in the typical Snicket way – cryptic and nonsensical.

The book is made up of multiple letters, newspaper clippings and diary entries that explain everything and nothing at the same time.

It did give a few of the characters some more background which I enjoyed, and it explained the relationship between the characters a lot more than the book series does.

It never tells you the exact truth. I stared at the Snicket family tree for ages trying to work out the initials!

I saw an early screening of this almost a month ago and I had no idea what this was about, but I really liked some of the actors Salma Hayek and Alexander Skarsgard, so I went. The actors and their performances are what kept me entertained. There were some funny parts, but the whole story line of building a high frequency line was a bit strange and in the end no one got the big payday. It was anticlimactic. So if you like these actors than check it out on home video, but not in the theaters since i think it's only in a few theaters anyways.

I had not read anything by this author and the plot seemed like something I would really enjoy. Sadly this book fell very flat for me. It was a pick up, put down, and not care if I never saw it again.
The premise, characters, and length were all perfect; the author just seemed to miss a lot of plot holes. There is also a suprisingly large amount of tropes smashed into one book.
The only real redeeming quality for me was the fact that Sara grew throughout the book. You could see her growth and feel that she was a well thought out character.

Thank you for the chance to read this egalley.
