different take on the whole spooky universe
one thing i noticed with this show was it had some different elements to it than the standard witch and werewolf shows. IT was interesting and i will be looking forward to season 2, my only issue was i felt like it was really dragging, certain moments felt like hours instead of minutes and some weird useless information was brought in that had nothing to do with the story line.
Even saying that i did enjoy myself while watching, a friend of mine works on set and it was cool to see the other side of the set in stead of what i just saw.

Jacob Anderson, Jessica Barden, Duane Henry, Callum Macnab, Sophie Stuckey, Adam Deacon & Jeff Bell star as 6 friends who agree to setup an aerial on the roof of an abandoned tower block In exchange for free drugs & cash.
After Breaking into the building & completing the Job, they begin an excessive night of drugs, booze and Tunes.
Unfortunately for them, the Tower block isn't as empty as they thought, as they quickly realise that this is someone's home and trespassers will be killed....

A perfectly dark & serious tone, with a Saw meets Scream feel that definitely is one you'll happily rewatch.

Incredible book
This was the first proper dystopian teen book I had read (well before the film's) and I really enjoyed the complexity and reality the author gave to the story, how the mother struggled with her husband's death and what this meant to a family living in such a cut throat world. I loved how you could see why she was doing what she did, that she never planned to get out alive when she saw who was going in with her and how she wasn't the 'darling' of the book nor a 'princess' to be looked after.

The ending of the series was a let down but this book is great to get your teeth into

Starring a pre-Daredevil Charlie Cox and based on the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman, this actually sticks pretty close to it's source material for the majority of its runtime: that is, up until about the last 30 minutes or so when it goes off in completely its own tangent.

I also have to say that I found the inclusion of Ricky Gervais to be completely out of place (I find his whole schtick to be incredibly annoying anyway), and Robert De Niro playing against type as Captain Shakespeare also took me quite by surprise the first time I saw it (but good on him for being game enough to do so).
