Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
Creepshow- is a very great movie, with its five short stories that are really horrorfyed and terrorfyed. Each one of them are scary.

The Plot: A compendium of five short but terrifying tales contained within a single full-length feature, this film conjures scares from traditional bogeymen and portents of doom. In one story, a monster escapes from its holding cell. Another focuses on a husband (Leslie Nielsen) with a creative way of getting back at his cheating wife. Other stories concern a rural man (Stephen King) and a visitor from outer space, and a homeowner (E.G. Marshall) with huge bug problems and a boozing corpse.

The film consists of five short stories: "Father's Day", "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill", "Something to Tide You Over", "The Crate" and "They're Creeping Up on You!" Two of these stories were adapted from King's short stories, with the film bookended by prologue and epilogue scenes featuring a young boy named Billy (played by King's son, Joe), who is punished by his father for reading horror comics.

The film was adapted into an actual comic book of the same name soon after the film's release, illustrated by Bernie Wrightson, (of Heavy Metal and Warren magazines fame), an artist fittingly influenced by the 1950s E.C. Comics.

It is a very great movie and i would highly reccordmend it.

Interesting but not scary
A Puritan family lives by themselves off the land to farm, raise their children and suffer through their lives barely scraping by. The perception of evil forces slowly overruns the family and they start to point fingers at each other as for who is to blame.

Short review today, but I had not heard much about this until a friend recommended. I enjoyed more than I thought I would for a film with a slow start. It seems I like slow burn movies ore than most. I can stay with a film if it seems interesting or I feel like it is going somewhere and will have a decent climax.

I did not think the film was scary at all with not even any jump scares, but the characters were interesting and the family dynamics were extreme especially once there is doubt and paranoia about what is happening to them.

Since I am an American, I did find some of the dialect hard to comprehend at times so much so that I actually turned the Netflix subtitles on to make sure I didn't miss anything.

It's not like it's a fantastic film that will stay with me or anything; however, I feel it is unique and interesting and well worth 95 minutes of your life.

In Time Zero Carolyn Cohagan describe a world run by fanatics. The point of view is from a young girl growing up in this time and being forced into a marriage against her will. Some seem to compare the descriptions to more radical Islam nations now but I do not see the difference between how some men deem women as property now in the U.S. Depending on your perspective when you read this book it will appear different. I read this book during the presidential elections and saw it as poignent and scary. I do not think the autor is too far from the truth as to what could happen.

Terrible
It's not very often that I consider walking out of a movie. It's only happened on a handful of occasions and I usually try and stick it out, just in case I miss some huge U-turn which turns the movie from a 2 out of 10 to an 8 or a 9. The Witch was a movie I found myself hating early on. I stuck with it, hoping for that U-turn, but it never came. What people saw in this I'll never understand. But then I liked 'Blair Witch', so maybe it's me!

Poor Mabel is afraid of monster hiding in her room. She and her cat hide from the monster in her fort. But one day Mabel questions whether they’re all that bad. She finds out that the monster is just as scared of her as she is of him, and then they become friends and spend the day playing and dressing up and having tea. Mabel isn’t scared of monsters anymore. This is a very cute story about not being afraid and being brave enough to take the chance of making a friend. The illustrations are adorable! The monster is cute and not to scary.

Disappointing
I was looking forward to this British Horror as it looked a bit different to most horror films.
Unfortunately the early part of the film relies too much on jump scares and loud noises. The first horror tale was eerie but not scary. The second was more creepy and uneasy, although cut a bit short I felt. The third was ok but then it starts to get a bit weird.
I didn't like the ending much and thought it took something away from the film by changing the whole feel of the film. Something of a marmite film I think.

Not bad
As far as horror movies go this one was pretty good. A creepy "what if" superhero movie. The acting was ok and the cinematography wasn't too bad. The story was unique so I appreciated that. It unfolded well enough and had a few jump scares but it's the idea they were trying to put in your head. The "what if someone as powerful as superman was evil" really would be a scary thing. The ceo factor read here and it had a couple "gory" scenes so may not be great for kids. Otherwise I'd definitely say this is a good one for movie night. Worth a watch.

When Kazoo, the koala on loan to FunJungle, is stolen, Teddy finds himself the only suspect anyone is willing to consider. Can he stay out of jail long enough to prove his innocence?

I've been waiting a long time for a follow up to the first in this series, and I wasn't disappointed. The characters are still great, the mystery is complex, and there are some funny and scary moments. The book's target Middle Grade audience will love it just as much as I did.

A creepy horror film with a high production value and good cast. There might not be a high enough body count for some, or for it to be classed as a slasher anyway. However it does have a spooky atmosphere with the creepy dolls. Not the most original or scary film, but at least it tried something new and different, among the endless carbon copy horrors being released these days. I have to add for a horror film the photography is great, you really can tell the attention to detail in every shot, from the angle, framing, lighting and colours. You don't notice that in many horror films!
