Merissa (12069 KP) rated Angel 6.0: Concubine (Angel 6.0 #1) in Books
May 31, 2023
This is a fast-paced sci-fi erotica novella, the main character of which is an "experiment". She isn't human, she wasn't born but created, and yet she thinks and feels. 'Angel' is kept aboard Nugene station and is the secret of D'Anton - her "father" - and Carver - her "lover".
Her life is good until the day The Gran board the station, earlier than expected, and sees her. They decide that they will have her and the story takes off very quickly. Above all, Angel is a survivor and she will do whatever it takes to make sure that she does. Facing sorrow, loss and fear, she comes out fighting.
The first instalment of this sci-fi erotica series starts with a bang and is brilliant reading from start to finish. Definitely recommended for a short, hot read.
* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *

An Interesting Approach to Sci-Fi
I'll be honest, I've heard some pretty crappy reviews about this movie so I went into it expecting it to be pretty awful. However, it wasn't. I found this to be an interesting movie about self-discovery and the bond between father and son. The visuals and CGI work were astounding. While it wasn't as fantastic as some science fiction movies I've seen, it was undoubtedly a good one.

Starts of promising but doesn't live up to expectations.
Starts off very promising with a cool premise and some interesting plot twists but soon degenerates into very familiar territory - very closely following the plot of another very famous film with a similar premise. It even copies some of the iconic scenes from the original. I wouldn't bother unless you are seriously into sci-fi and don't mind unoriginal its.

Very good film set in the future where everything is done in the virtual world so hardly any human interaction goes on. If you like sci-fi films this might appeal to you but there is a moral of the story and glad to see it plays out in the end. Seen a couple of times as you can miss bits the first time although as in most cases the book is better.

Happy Death Day 2 U (2019) brings us a happy return to the big screen for Jessica Rothe. #Review
Planting its tongue firmly in cheek, the sequel to 2017’s delightfully peppy “Happy Death Day” takes the timey-wimey slasher story and gives it a decidedly sci-fi twist that sees it play out like an over-caffeinated mash-up of “Back To The Future Part II” and “Russian Doll”...
