Book Divas (227 KP) rated The Daughters of Morrigan (Souls Out of Ireland #1) in Books

There's so much I want to say about this captivating storyline and the many beautiful characters but I can't without revealing the many spoilers. Annie Cosby's writing style immediately transports you into this well-written story and I swear that I kept catching myself trying to imitate the dialect.
I ohed and awed throughout the entire page-turning read which kept me in its grip the entire time and when I reached the end I wanted to scream because now I have to wait until the second book!!
I LOVED it and recommend it to one and all!!!

Keondra, please please keep writing!! The words were so easy to relate to! I absolutely loved each and every poem in this book!! A beautiful work of art to add to my library.
"i would touch your lips to mine
if not for fear of regret"
I remember this feeling, your words just jump off the page and make me want to throw my hand in the air and scream yes, I know how you feel!! So much depth, breath and love in these lines.
If I had not won this, I would most definitely have purchased this book! I will keep my eye out for more of your works of love. Thank you for sharing!! :)
Cyn Armistead (14 KP) rated Kitty's House of Horrors (Kitty Norville, #7) in Books
Mar 1, 2018
Well, Kitty and friends find themselves in the middle of a snuff film being made by people who hate were-beings/vampires/psychics/etc. Kitty, at least, is smarter than your average scream queen. What ensures isn't exactly hilarity, but this being a Kitty Norville book there are a few bright spots here and there (although far fewer than usual).

Emma @ The Movies (1786 KP) rated A Good Day To Die Hard (2013) in Movies
Sep 25, 2019
Where 4.0 managed to get in on some of the current trends, A Good Day To Die Hard decided it wanted to be like Jason Bourne whilst forgetting that John McClane isn't the sleek spy that Bourne is. We've gone from fun and enjoyable action films to something that takes itself way too seriously. At no point did I crack a smile, or scream "oooooooh" at the screen when one of McClane's completely ill matched fist fights goes awry.
A dancing, carrot eating villain who likes to play with his hostages... give me strength.
As for the extras on this disc you should certainly checkout Maximum McClane, mainly for the compilation of yippee ki-yays at the end.
