Prepare to scream again...or not
I was pretty excited to see this movie, and by the end I was only mildly disappointed. This movie had a few twists that I thought were enjoyable. But ultimately the movie falls flat because the main twist was weak and didn't matter overall in the scream universe. Some of the acting was terrible, and I can't tell if it was intentional for some of the character traits or if it was legit bad acting. The practical effects in this were really good and actually looked believable. I also enjoyed the update in the horror movie troupes and the way they incorporated newer technology into the movie. Overall this movie will fall flat unfortunately but it does open up the universe for another sequel.

This book is freaking AMAZING. Lisa Renee Jones grabs you by the heart strings and brings your deepest darkest fantasies to light in this series, and I am definitely looking forward to reading more of her books. If you don't like cliffhangers, wait until the entire series is out, because you will scream, cuss, and go insane until you get the next book to read it

Terrified me!
Having grown up and then by poor luck, happened to work in a building where flying objects, apparitions and things appearing in mid air was normal daily life, horror films don't scare me. This however terrified me. The worst possible form of a prison where you watch people unravel. It is absolutely genius and unique a film. Blown away.

I Know What You Did Last Summer opens with the Type O Negative cover of Summer Breeze, which is always going to be a winner in my book.
This film is rightly considered a bit of a classic these days, and there's really not a whole bunch to complain about. It has well written characters, a decent cast, a visually creepy villain, an engaging whodunit plot, one of the best chase scenes in slasher movie history (that's right), and still manages to stand on its own two feet in a world where it's constantly compared to Scream.
I find this to be an unfair comparison. Beyond the 90s setting, teen characters, slasher tropes, and shared writer in Kevin Williamson, there's not much else that ties them together. Scream is of course a fantastic horror, but relishes in being satire, whereas IKWYDLS is a straight shooting horror. Its the exact kind of film that Scream takes aim at, but it still manages to be a decent slasher without feeling silly, and delivers some well earned jump scares for good measure. I also really enjoy it's fishing town setting and the hole movie is accompanied by a hilariously epic score courtesy of John Debney. It's great.
I will always have a lot of time for IKWYDLS, overshadowed by some of its contemporaries, but a hugely satisfying and entertaing horror in its own right.

Another great opening (2 more)
The main trio of characters are back
Plenty of twists and turns
The return of Ghost Face
We had a long wait for another Scream film but definitely worth it for fans of the series. Better than the third film and still largely sticking with the same formula. It's brought up to date with modern technology and still makes fun of itself and the Horror franchise.

A must watch for Slasher fans
An above average straight to DVD slasher. Surprised could have done ok at the cinema. A creepy looking killer, good location, quite a few familiar faces in the cast including William Sadler! Quite gory in places, the story is original if very far fetched. A mix of 8mm, Scream and Wrong turn. Better than most recent slasher films I've seen.

This book is simply amazing. J.R. Ward really knows how to create a series with characters that you will love. Zsadist is by far one of my favorite characters. His brokenness is beautiful in his on twisted way.
I am glad that I reread this book. It really is so beautiful and heart wrenching. I cried, I laughed, and I wanted to scream. Do yourself a favor and read this series.

The favorite book of the year so far goes to this one! What a rollercoster that was but I didn't want to get off,I want to know the next years! I love this book, I know I say I love alot of books but this one I think has taken a massive imprint and stamped it across me. It was real,it wasn't just happy happy lovey dovey fall in love no problems. They made mistakes that is what happens in life and although these mistakes and these things that happened made me scream (and I mean scream, and cry and possibly tantrum a little) it felt it wasn't just a fantasy. Her writing kept me hooked,I kept waiting to know what was going to happen next and I still do. I feel a book hangover coming on I am just not done, even if there are no more pages!

Great cast including Sarah Michelle Gellar (2 more)
Same Writer as Scream Kevin Williamson
Cool soundtrack
A very slick Slasher film
A cool, fun, sexy Slasher film carrying on from the likes of @Scream (1996) which was also written by Kevin Williamson. The cast is great and all very popular in the late 90's, location suits the film and it has a great soundtrack including Hush by Kula Shaker. A must for Slasher fans!
