WOW! The first book in this series, Hidden, is really good but this book blows that one out of the water. It is an excellent follow up although I warn you that it has a killer cliffhanger ending.
This story does follow on from Hidden so I definitely recommend you read that first or you simply won't have a clue what is happening here. For those that have read it, I can say that the story continues to move forward in such a way that will amaze and astound. The characters are growing and changing whilst the plot thickens. I especially loved the character development of Tressa and Bastian. This felt completely natural considering that they are meeting new people for the first time in their lives.
So many twists and turns in this story and I won't even try to explain any of them. Suffice it to say that I now have lots of questions that were answered from book 1 but I now have more from book 2 that are still unanswered. I'm waiting for book 3 very impatiently!
Recommended for all Fantasy lovers out there.

This book is like an onion, it has layers! It is a fast-paced, witty and gritty tale about the Vice-President of a Motorcycle Club and a woman with a deadly secret. Cecilia starts off as nothing more than a woman in Witness Protection, trying to live her life as best she can. There is an instant attraction between her and Luke but she only kisses him when she thinks that she's going to be leaving town. This sets in motion a series of events that will change her life forever, along with Luke's.
I loved how strong Cecilia is and how her mouth runs away with her at times. She isn't afraid to stand her ground but also knows when to back down. She is full of surprises and I loved her!
If you like Shifter stories, if you like MC stories, and if you can cope with a reference made to Ghostbusters then I can definitely recommend this book to you. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next in this series!

I loved how strong Cecilia is and how her mouth runs away with her at times. She isn't afraid to stand her ground but also knows when to back down. She is full of surprises and I loved her!
If you like Shifter stories, if you like MC stories, and if you can cope with a reference made to Ghostbusters then I can definitely recommend this book to you. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next in this series!

Death of a Muckraker
This book opens on September 6, 1901, when Sarah meets a young woman named Louisa who is researching an article she is writing for a magazine on patent medicine. A few days later, Louisa’s father hires Frank. Someone has killed Louisa, and he wants to know who did it. As Frank and Sarah begin their investigation, they learn that little of what Louisa told Sarah was true. But did those lies lead to her death?
Since I caught up on the series last year, it’s been a longer wait than I was used to before I got to return to these characters. It was fabulous spending time with them again. The series regulars all get appearances and are their usual charming selves. We even got advancement on a plotline that had gone backwards in recent books. The mystery itself could have been a little stronger; same with the suspects. I still enjoyed it, but it’s not the best of the series. I was expecting a certain historical event to show up in the series at some point, so I was happy seeing how the characters reacted to that. Fans of this long running series will be glad they got to spend more time with characters they love. I know I was.

A gripping and moving historical document...
This is simply an incredible movie. Certainly one of the most moving and intense that I have seen in many years.
Now, seventeen years on, this film’s poignancy is still as relevant today as it ever was. Casting relative unknowns was the key to this frightening realistic portrayal of the world shattering events of September 11. Though, due to the casting real people in many of the their actual roles, the dialogue’s delivery does suffer from time to time, but it is also those faults that make this so credible.
The sense of shock at the second plane hitting the South Tower was so well portrayed, edited and directed that it still sends shivers down my spine. Though in many ways because I saw this day unfold live myself as millions around shared this inexplicable experience. This is a gripping drama, which has the courage of its convictions, staying the path of its internal truths and never drifting into theatricalities often attributed to movie of this type. Simply put; The story is dramatic enough in its own right and needs little if any real embellishment.
This is truly one of the greats, dealing with a historical event in such a mature way that it should stand as a historical document for decades to come.
