Scarlett dreams of escaping her life and going to Caraval. When she finally gets there, she realizes that it isn't at all what she expected, and that nothing is as it seems. This book is full of mystery, betrayal, love, deception, and so much more. I couldn't put it down, and look forward to getting my hands on the sequel!

Somewhat of an enjoyable watch but an ageing Ford and an unnecessary sequel do not mix and this is a poor relation to the original trilogy.
The film is very clunky dialogue wise and although full of action it still feels a little disjointed in places.
Harrison Ford is a great actor, however the character should have been retired some time back.

I was pretty skeptical about this book because it had such a hype around it. It started off pretty slow, I was having a hard time engaging with the characters until Day Four of Caraval - I will tell you, I was unable to put the book down after that and finished it mere hours later. I have since pre-ordered the sequel.

I received a copy of Shadow Frost from Blackstone Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

I'm a sucker for world building and this one was a thrill to read.

I loved the way magic was portrayed in this book but most importantly I adore the characters.

I really really hope there's going to be a sequel to this one, because that cliffhanger!

Movie Rating Watch

Wow. This was a great sequel to the first one. I absolutely loved watching it! None of the songs felt like they stood out too much and it was a pleasure to see all of these characters again! Moving performances and a good plot that I thoroughly enjoyed! I'm excited to see a third one if they decide to make it!!
