Absolute rubbish!
These sharks are not just opportunist attackers they will actually go out of their way to hunt you down! Codswallop. Jaws made sharks out to be the terrorists of the seas but at least it had a storyline. This film just made me laugh even though it wasn't a comedy!

Smart sharks.

That's probably the best 2 word way of describing this movie, basically Jurassic Park in the ocean, with the sharks a result of illegal genetic modification that increases their brain size in order for scientists to harvest some of the same for a cure for Alzheimer's.

In the middle of a storm - natch - the sharks then get free from their pens and start hunting said scientists throughout the (now flooded) facility - complete with a very-surprising scene of somebody rather unexpected getting chomped!

Just finished watching on Netflix it's not bad film it's okay cgi sharks are terrible and some of the characters are bad at decision making but the standout for me is Audrey Reynolds the main lead In the who I was hoping would survive. But the shallows did it better

I remember the original really well especially because Samuel I Jackson was in it and I really liked it now comes the sequel not as good as the original but the sequel feels like it's basically using the same plot as the original film. The sharks are the real stars of the film the acting not so much. I will put up my review of the third one up later
