Childish, ridiculous nonsense... and that's why it's fun.

Something that films like this can be guilty of is taking a joke too far in a single scene. Happytime tap dances down that line and looks like it might stumble clear over but it does managed to just avoid it. Just.

Much like I didn't know I needed to hear Nic Cage saying "anal beads" in Mom & Dad, I didn't know that I needed to see a muppet jizz silly string.

It's not muppets like you know them, but there are some nostalgic drops in there. The one thing that I can't judge is whether this will stand up to being watched more than once. What I do know is that I wouldn't turn it off if it came on the TV.

As a married woman, I can't relate with this book. However, that said, this book is a 4 star book that is great for those Christian women who are single and looking for their Mr. Right. Deepak Reju creates a well thought out, well researched book that will help those seeking their Mr. Right.

Reju creates a book that is unique and filled with different types of guys and what they are like. Waiting for the one that God has in mind for you is not always a bad thing. In fact, I was a single mom for 8 years before God introduced me to my husband and showed me that he was the one for me. His timing might not be our timing, but when you are looking for your other half, then you just might have to wait awhile.

Overall, this is a 4 stars. I like the way the author created this book, but, like I said, it's not for me, since I'm happily married now to the one that God picked for me. But, if you are someone who is single and looking, then grab this book. You may find just what you need to do within it's pages. Great job, Mr. Reju!

I may or may not get back to you on that, since I haven't found a single con yet (0 more)
Absolutely LOVE Pepper Winters!
I was first introduced to Tess through Pepper's other series, "Pennies", which I read through in only 4 days (which is no easy feat when you're a mom to 4 littles!). When I read a series that I love, I've never actually gone on to read the stories of other characters introduced along the storyline but after reading review after review I knew I had to at least TRY it. Tears of Tess sucked me in just like the Pennies series did. Not only is Pepper Winters my new favorite author, but her storylines and Characters have stuck with me and may even, dare I say, earned themselves a second read through by me (which literally NEVER happens!)

From the moment I started to read this book I knew I was in for a real treat and I loved every single moment of this book. Vivienne is a young adult who has tragically lost her mom and lives with her grandmother. She unexpectedly stumbles upon a secret that overwhelmingly changes not only her life but how she sees the world around her.

This author's creative and enlightening writing style swept me away into the magic of the past and the present, of good versus evil and of course witches. Unexpected twists and turns that keep you in this well weaved story line with beautiful and strong characters and I look forward to reading the next installment. This is a book that I will be recommending to everyone.
