Enjoyed this book immensely. I found I was constantly entertaining possible who done its through out the entire book. I found myself staying up late at night because I couldn't go to sleep because if I put the book down, I was constantly thinking about what would happen next. I was happy to finish the book and sad at the same time. This book is well thought-out and the characters are engaging from the moment they are introduced. The story line was fast paced and compelling. Fantastic read and would highly recommend this book.

The movie over all was enjoyable in that " oh my gosh, people suck" kind of way. The whole movie I was just enraptured, the only thing that I found confusing at all was the time line. The movie is constantly switching the time line on you through out the entire movie and I found that to be confusing at times. I loved it, other than the fact I couldn't sleep because I was worried someone was going to kidnap my imaginary child"

The very start of this novel is actually set 100 years previous, before 'Black Jack' Geary is rescued from survival sleep before the very start of the first book in the series: "Dauntless".

If you've read the others in the series, you prety much know what to expect: 'real-time' space battles, political machinations, and a sub-plot involving traiters within the fleet ...

A good film that does 'The Shining' proud. Sometimes sequals can lack luster but Doctor Sleep earns it's place along side it's predecessor. The soundtrack, cinematography and acting make the film very enjoyable to watch however the script is long winded and there are moments when you wish the film would 'get on with it' as it is a bit slow in some places. If you've got a spare few hours and like Stephan King films then it's worth seeing.
