Hey Smashbombers,

I just wanted to add another quick reminder about our linking feature. You can easily link related items to each other, so that we can all discover new items!

I've just spent some time linking movie prequels/sequels and movies based on video games, why not link your favourites too?

It's really easy to do, simply go to one of the relevant items, for example: Batman Begins, click 'EDIT' scroll down to 'RELATED ITEMS' and search for the other item(s): The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises - then hit 'SAVE' and the items will be linked, just like the picture example below!

Hopefully you will find this feature helpful,
Happy Reviewing & Linking!

Hey Smashbombers,

Here is this weeks 'Top 10' list - This week I've chosen 10 of the highest rated TV shows here on Smashbomb.

I've chosen shows that have more than one season, so that if you're a bit bored at the minute, these will give you something to watch!

The aim of these weekly 'Top 10' lists is to provide you with items that can be discovered from home, and could be useful/helpful in passing the time/keeping in touch with family&friends/learning something new, etc. in this difficult time.
Let me know if you have any suggestions/requests for items or lists to do next!

Stay Safe & Happy Reviewing!
Ollie.

Damn that kid can Drive!!!!
I'm not a huge action fan. I usually only watch horror films. But when one of my favorite directors suggests a movie. I check it out. And Joe Lynch, you didn't disappoint.
Baby Driver had me, quite literally biting my nails and sitting on the edge of my seat.
The cast put forward an effort that can not be denied. It was cool to see Jon Hamm play a real mother fucker of a bad guy. Going balls deep into a performance that had me begging for his demise.
Kevin Spacey was asking as always.
And Ansol Elgort played the title roll with so much emotion that you could completely feel what he was feeling on screen.
And besides all those facts. The soundtrack kicked total ass.
Watch it fellow Smashbombers... it will not disappoint.

Fellow Smashbombers, I'm interested to get your thoughts on a few notions that have cropped up in my life recently.

Firstly, people keep telling me that everything happens for a reason and that sometimes you have to sit back and stop thinking about something and it'll happen when you least expect it. Do you think that's true?

Secondly in the last book I read the main character was advised to say yes to everything to open up any possibilities. I'm debating whether to try this myself and see where it takes me, but I'm intrigued to know if anyone else has ever followed the same advice?

And lastly, is it better to do/say something and risk a bad outcome, rather than regret never doing it at all?

I'm interested to know everyone's different views on these areas, as my own are very conflicted!

1. I don’t think that’s true.

2. Probably a good experiment within reason. Beware that people could take advantage of the person who always says yes. Think about if you said yes to every possible task at the work place or at home, might be new experiences but it could also get you into a bind. It may also be good to set certain boundaries for yourself. Saying no isn’t always bad and can be empowering as well.

3. Depends on how much that thing means to you and what the risks are of saying/doing it. Will you lose a lifelong friendship because you just had to say something minutely important? Maybe that thing will always bother you but maybe you’d rather not lose that person. However standing up for beliefs/rights/etc despite risks has always been important for the betterment of humanity.

I had something like that going on in my life a few years ago. I do believe everything happens for a reason even though sometimes life is hard and it hurts. I have had my share of crying from just feeling so broken at times. I discovered that during that time in my life I was growing and I had to just focus on me for a while and I took the time to discover who I was. I knew I was a mom, a sister, a daughter ect. But I didnt know who I truly was. I took time to just focus on me and once I figured out who I was and learned to love me first I became a better mom, sister, daughter ect. Even the people around me saw the difference and said they could tell how much happier I was. I the years since then I can look back now and see how my trials have allowed me to learn and grow. That in return has allowed me to help others. I dont think I am changing the world, but I do think I have helped to show others love and kindness when needed, and been strong enough and secure enough to help give a little light when times looked dark. My faith has taught me things come to pass. Hard times come but they pass. This will pass for you. Find out who you are and what you want, and then go for it.

Hey Smashbombers!

I wanted to tell you about a cool feature we have here on Smashbomb!

Did you know that you can link items that relate to each other? For example: a Movie that is based on a Book, you can link the Book and the Movie together - or link a Movie with the Movie soundtrack - or link a Tech item with a corresponding App - or a Podcast that is based on a TV Show.

You can link these related items together to help us all discover more items!

It's really easy to do, simply go to one of the relevant items, for example Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (MOVIE), click edit, scroll down to 'related items' and search for the other item, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (BOOK) - then hit 'SAVE' and the items will be linked, just like the picture example below!

Hopefully you will find this feature helpful,
Happy Reviewing & Linking!
Ollie.

All I want to be able to do in my boring quarantine life is to be able to add DLC to Video Game items in the same way you can add seasons to TV items. I'm just sad like that 😭
