More average than legendary
Having got into the Arrow and then the Flash series I thought this could be rather good with several characters from each show teaming up. Unfortunately the plot of not using the other shows main characters... They would cause too much of a ripple in the time line, or studio fees... Does raise some questions, but it gets overwhelming with too many characters and feels like it's target audience might be younger than the other shows. Overall it is less than the sum of it's parts.

This was a series that was a spin off of vampire diaries but I feel was so much better. I love the way it ended but not that it ended. This follows the story of the original vampire family and how they became so cruel, also how in a way how they became good again. Thought a little mirical baby names hope, and how in the end why she became an orphan. If you love a good witch, vampire, werewolf fued this is just a must see.

Off Base (Out of Uniform #1) by Annabeth Albert
Off Base is the first book in the Out of Uniform series. I double-checked the synopsis as it didn't feel like the first book, only to see it was a spin-off from the #Gaymers series! Now I have another series to catch up on ;)
Zack is an all-macho good guy, determined to make his deeply religious parents proud. His brother is basically a deadbeat, so he feels the pressure to be perfect. Pike is a friend of a friend, and someone who riles Zack up in all the ways he doesn't want to acknowledge. So be prepared for snarkiness and sparks between these two.
This was a wonderful introduction to this series, showing out Zack thinks he has to fight every battle alone. Seriously, you think he'd know better, but his fears have their place, and are very real to him. Pike helps him where he can, but isn't prepared to hide who he is. I absolutely love these two, so young, so unsure, and yep, so HOT!
There is romance, angst, pain, steam, and a multitude of other emotions between these pages. With no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt my reading flow, I absolutely recommend this book. An absolute blast of a start to the series, and I can't wait to read more.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *

So this series is amazing I laughed my head at at the antics that happened. The main character will make you want to scream at you book, phone what ever you read on because she seems to be blind to what happening with the guy she meets in the first chapter. The best friend is amazing I want to be her, she is a complete bitch and it's great.

David McK (3425 KP) rated Agatha All Along in TV
Nov 8, 2024 (Updated Nov 8, 2024)
Possibly the best of the modern MCU TV shows since their first (Wandavision), of which this is a sort of spin-off as it follows the break-out star of that pervious series in Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness.
As the show starts, she is still in Westview and still under the Scarlet Witches spell, but it's not long - tail end of the first episode - before she is free of said spell, and travelling down the heretofore believed to be mythical Witches Road in search of her lost power in the company of several others, including Joe Locke's Teen and Aubrey Plaza's Rio Vidal, both of whom have connections to Agatha's past life in particular ...

I loved this so much. I read this one not realizing it was a spin off from another series, but it wasn't necessary to read the other series first even though I do have a feeling I would understand some of the characters more if I had. However, it is NOT needed at all. Cain is so hott. He is a demon, he is sexy, and when he turns demon so much yummy. He has insecurities and jealousy. He loves his mate so much but is worried she won't want or need him so he takes his time. Olivia is amazing. She is so strong but thinks she isn't. She was sheltered because of her fear and needing her brother so much. She falls for Cain who is a demon and she is a werewolf so she isn't supposed to love a demon. They both have to work through so much just to be together including his issues and her brother. This is an amazing start to this series and thanks to reading this one I now need to read the other series before this one. I highly recommend this book if you love paranormal romance.
