Remake bah!
I know there is a new version of this film coming out soon and I'm not happy about it. The same way I wasn't happy about The Beguiled remake (which was horrible), some movies are better untouched.

This might be my favorite Steve McQueen film or at least his best acting performance (maybe The Sand Pebbles?) Everyone should watch this prison film and also the triumph of the human spirit.

Dustin Hoffman is also great as well as the great filming locations. They augment the story and make it more believable.

Highly recommended.

With the town churches being overrun by a series of pranks, Meg is called in to organize a schedule so all the Christmas concerts and services can still go on as planned. But who is behind the pranks? And why have things escalated to murder?

This is a second Christmas entry in the Meg series, and it was purely delightful. I finished it on Christmas Eve, and it helped put me in the Christmas spirit, yes even with murder involved.
