One of the finest debuts of all time...
One of the finest debuts of all time, and thanks to John le Carré, a fine writer and real life secret service employee, one of the most realistic spy novels written.

Not only is this an excellent debut from le Carré, but an introduction to one of the greatest fictional spies, George Smiley, best known from "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy".

This may seem a strange one, but the book is quite short, which is a good thing. I enjoy books short and long, but this is excellent for some light reading, and the best place to start with le Carré's books is definitely at the start!

I'm really enjoying where this series is going. This particular issue was very good even if it did feel like it was missing that "X Factor". I really enjoyed the Mission Impossible spy thriller feel that the book is taking on and I'm really excited to see where it will continue to go.

Another history book that reads like a novel, Hasting's is such a good writer. It's really interesting to see another side of WW2, and it demonstrates how much was done in secret. The book covers Bletchley Park, the Cambridge Spy Ring, and other behind the scenes operations, both for and against the allies.

I'm not a big fan of Angelina Jolie to be honest. However I still found this a good spy action/thriller. It has tons of action, stunts, chases, shootouts and a few twists a long the way all packed into 90 minutes. A good entertaining action flick if nothing new or outstanding.

High class mystery
Incredible start to the series. The book follows Huntley as she undertakes her first mission as a spy. It contains mystery, action, romance and lots of wealth. The book concludes its story however leaves you eager for the next to uncover the deeper, overarching mysteries of Huntley’s life

A little cheesy and clichéd. (0 more)
What? Not Debby Harry
So, honestly I thought this was a biopic about the band Blondie and now I feel silly.

This is a cold war spy thriller full of action but let down by being very clichéd and so a bit cheesy.
