fantastic read
This is the forth book in this series by this author. This is a sports romance read. this book can be read as a stand alone read or as part of the series. This story is fun, steamy and is perfectly written. Amazing well written characters which you will fall in love with as you read. The banter between the main characters is laugh out loud funny. This is another amazing read from this author, which will have you hooked from the first page. I can' t wait to read more from this author in the future.

OMG, This is one fantastic read from this author, I just couldn't put this book down till I'd finished it. This is a mafia romance read with so much more added into the story. This is a stand alone read. This is a dark, sexy, passionate read with lots of depth to the story and characters. Amazing well written characters with very intense, hot ans steamy chemistry between them. This is one of those book you can read again and again and never get bored with it. I can't wait to read more from this amazing author in the future.

Cyn Armistead (14 KP) rated Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, #11) in Books

For fluff, it's got some really dark scenes. It doesn't have enough of a plot to be anything more than fluff, though. It absolutely does NOT stand alone, so don't consider reading this book unless you've read all that went before it - you'll be hopelessly lost.
Sookie has changed so much over the course of this series that she is having trouble recognizing herself, and is troubled over it, with good reason. Having a main character change is good, and I'll say that some of that change is growth, but I can't say it's all growth, or all to the good. (Can any of us say that, though, about the changes we go through in our lives?)

Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated Seeing Red (Hearts and Minds, #3) in Books

Book 3 of the series and I would recommend that you read the previous books before starting this as it is not stand alone. It's written well, a little confusing as I don't know who all the characters are as I've not read any others in the series. Not much happens in the book, Meg marries Seth mainly to show the media she's moving on with her Life after Spike and then Meg and Seth decide to give the sham marriage a go. The End. Really, that's it! Could really have done with a little more action in the book for me as I found it boring in the end and couldn't wait to finish it.

Entertaining
This movie was very entertaining. The small jump scares, dark visuals, sound effects and musical score combined with the great reaction performances by the actors gave this movie some top notch "creep factor". Some parts were pretty predictable, but it didn't take away from the entertainment value. The story played out nicely at a good, steady pace. The ties to 'The Conjuring' were ok, but unnecessary, as this is a great stand alone film. Might be too scary for little kids, but I thinki most teens(and some pre-teens) could handle it. If you like a good demonic tale, I highly recommend checking this one out. Worth a watch!

Too much like the original (1 more)
Where is the beaver?
Cute
I watched the original film countless times as a kid and I was looking forward to this. It still is a great family movie. It is still over quant and charming (but thats what i loved) which sometimes is nice to watch and just sped some time feeling the world is nice.
However is there enough difference to make it a stand alone triumph? Well not really and this is why it has the lower score, plus the beaver is missing. How could they lose the beaver? If you haven't seen the original then bump that up to an 8.
