Bash knows Romy needs to tell him about his past, and he'll wait til Romy is ready.
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarain, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book 3 in the Little Paws Haven series, and I think you really SHOULD read books one and two before this one. There is an ongoing story arc that is not fully recapped, but you might get enough to muddle through. Just my opinion, it's my review :-)

Romy and Bash know they are mates, but dealing with two little rhinos they found, means getting to know each other is a bit down the list of priorities. They do TRY though. Bash digging a wallow, for example. But then they are hit with a devastating blow, and Romy needs his Little time to fully process the grown up stuff after. And the council is still causing problems!

I loved book one, and book two didn't quite hit the same spot. This book is on a par with book 2. WHY?? I dunno (insert wailing!) and you know I hate not being able to translate what my book brain wants to say!

I liked that it takes time for Romy and Bash to fully commit. They do take their time to get to know each other before mating. The Council and their aptitude for meddling continues, it gets in the way of Romy fully opening up to Bash for a while. Bash knows Romy needs to tell him, and he'll wait til Romy is ready. His hand is pushed though, given what happens and when he tells it all?? Oh my.

It was nice to catch up with Cosmo, Harley and Nomad. Gabai and Asher are mentioned but don't really play a part here. Book 4 is laid out for us as well!

I'm still not 100% certain what the council has been doing, but it is much clearer now, given what the crash of rhinos, along with all the allies, finds.

The steam level is low, I thought, but the drama/danger level is high and there is a bit more violence in this book. I mean, RHINOS!! But I think it was needed for this book.

I'm looking forward for Arlo and Taggert, and what Tagg can find on the computers!

4 very good stars

There is no HEA here, not yet. There is no romance, not yet.
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is the first book in the To Love A Psycho trilogy. There is no HEA here, not yet. There is no romance, not yet.

But what is here, is setting the stage for what is to come, and I bloody loved it!

It's dark and deadly. Very little smex, but the steam is building, oh yes!

Aaron is the child of serial killers, Kenny the psychologist who helped bring their capture. Jack, the police constable who finds Aaron. While this is mostly about Kenny and Aaron, it is important to mention Jack. Given as Jack played a huge part in Kenny's life before, and the fact that Aaron knows Jack, from that very early meeting and again, when he comes back into his life.

What I think (cos Lord knows if I can word it correctly!) I liked most about this book, was that both men are somewhat . . .not damaged or unhinged but those words keept jumping from my book brain and I dont think they are right, but that sort of thing. They are both haunted by their past, and Kenny especially surprised me. He fights Aaron all the way, but knows he can't keep away. Even taking to him to his therapy is something Kenny HAS to do for Aaron.

Given what's said here about Jack and Kenny's relationship, I can see why Kenny needs to look out for Aaron, he has no one else, but Kenny is hard wired that way: to care for someone, in any way he can. I think deep down, Kenny knows this, even if he psycoanalyses himself to the very max, I don't think he's actually seeing that in himself.

I did not see it all playing out the way it did, and I love being surprised. I can't wait to see what White does to this pair in the next book, but I am promised an eventual HEA, they are just gonna have to work so darn hard at it, it might break me!

4 stars, but only because it is a cliff hanger, and I KNEW that going in, but I can't quite stretch, not yet!

4 friends make their yearly trek to a Cabin in a remote part of Maine to eat, drink, be merry and Hunt. However Jonesy, Pete, Beaver and Henry are not just any ordinary group of friends. For as long as they can remember, there has been a psychic link between them, strengthened further by the addition of Duddits, a mentally disabled young boy who they rescued from bullies one day after school when they were all kids. Their link as a group of 5 is so strong that they even rescue a young girl who has been missing for a while. Now the boys have grown up and this trip is their chance to let loose and blow off some steam, minus Duddits who is still mentally a young boy. Whilst out hunting, they come across a distressed and dazed man who tells them he got lost in the woods whilst out with his Hunting group... and the man is obviously ill. He has a suspicious injury to his face and he can't stop burping and farting, which are so horrible that they make the guys nauseous. Soon enough, they guys discover the man is in a blood soaked Bathroom, dead, and an Alien Weasel looking creature thrashing around in the toilet bowl. And there's a red fungus growing on (and in) everything. Could this really be an Alien invasion? Can the 4 friends strike back against these otherworldly enemies? And what will happen when the most malevolent one of these Aliens decides that Jonesy would be a great place for him to be able to wreak havoc from?

Dreamcatcher is an adaptation of the Book of the same name from Stephen King. I'm now VERY happy I read the Book before I watched this Movie as some things in the Book don't come across that clear in the Movie. Not a lot of people enjoy the Book and feel it's quite out there for Stephen King but I really enjoyed it, and the same can be said for the Movie! The story is really captivating, especially the friendships between the guys and the interaction between Jonesy and Mr Gray (his new invader) and I really appreciated the very "Thing" quality this Movie has (I literally have no idea why it reminds me of The Thing but it just does!) Definitely worth a watch, but it's not going to be for everyone as I would recommend reading the Book first.
