I just found Christina Lauren by reading Love and Other Words and had to find another of her books, I'm glad I found this one.

I loved the dynamic between Holland and Collin. It's a crush, it's a ruse, it's love. The characters are easy to relate to and you root for them the entire book. There are some VERY steamy parts in the book that make the book just that perfect segway from sweet to sultry. As a woman, I'd love to rumple some sheets with Collin myself. :)

As with any romance, the storyline runs on a formula:

*girl meets boy
*insert positive storyline
*insert insurmountable problem
*insert resolution
*insert HEA

Luckily the storyline, writing style, character dynamic, and steam give the formula the kick it needs to be a good book.

WOW I was surprised by this one. I read this for a book club, after being recommended to read it a few times because I loved ACOTAR so much. I ended up loving this as well!! It's such an interesting story and I'm definitely going to be continuing the series. With that being said, one of the pros listed as reasons to read this book was that it was super spicy, and with that I'll have to disagree. The sexual tension is there, sure. But the actual steamy scenes didn't start until the last 100 pages and even then they weren't as outrageous as I'd been told. So if you're purely here for spice, I urge you to stay for the plot. If that doesn't matter to you then I recommend this for sure!

Another good novella

This is the second novella in the fairytales of myth series and I was as hooked on this one as I was the first it really doesn't seem to go on long enough. The raw pain and anguish Thalliya feels watching her family murdered is horrendous i feel it with her, I also get why she freezes that heartache is certainly one that takes your breath away! The relationship between Ragnar and Thalliya and how it grows and flourishes is very steamy but also needed by both of them. Its sad to know it doesn't last.I enjoyed the fast pace of the tale and that it doesn't hang around there is adventure from the start deffinatly a fantastic read4/5 absolutly cannot wait for the next installment

The Hookup is a short story with Grant and Easton. Grant needs some time to play as he has his concerns and worries dragging him down. Easton sees a gorgeous man in navy whites and immediately wants to know him better.

This was a quick read that still manages to give you a great story. I loved the twist halfway through which gave a whole new depth to the read. The attraction between these two is off the charts so be prepared for a steamy read.

If you need some quick loving then I can definitely recommend this book.
