Man's man, Steve McQueen was the coolest cat on the big screen in the 60s and 70s. He made only 26 movies in total before he was taken from us at only age 50. These are some of his greats.

"This is an old movie, and though he’s not with us any more, I really love the actor Steve McQueen. This movie, Papillon, I would call it his signature movie. The reason it’s one of my favorites is simple: it’s a Steve McQueen movie. He appears in it. I don’t think I need to say any more than that. [laughs] Of course, I like Bullitt, I like them all, but if I have to pick one, Papillon is my favorite Steve McQueen movie."

"John Wick 1 was heavily influenced by Steve McQueen, by Bullitt. The Mustang and the turtleneck… Also, French Connection, that sort of thing. All those great ’70s films, they were a big part of John Wick 1."

Widows (2018)
Widows (2018)
2018 | Crime, Drama, Thriller

"I know horror is the go-to genre for social messaging, but I love what Steve McQueen did with this heist movie. “Widows” is replete with insights into race, politics and gender, but first and foremost it’s thrilling. The acting is so good!"

Bank holiday favourite
One of the all time classic British films and pretty much an institute now. Steve McQueen leads an all star (for the time) cast and it was brilliantly entertaining. Well worth visiting every Bank Holiday or so
