This House Isnt A Home
The Strangers- is a slow pace horror film, it doesnt get good until the 30 minute mark. Than slowly it get good, but it takes its time. The best moments of this film was the last 30 minutes of this film.

The plot: Kristen (Liv Tyler) and James (Scott Speedman) are expecting a relaxing weekend at a family vacation home, but their stay turns out to be anything but peaceful. First, a mysterious and dangerous woman arrives at the door while James is out on an errand. When he returns, he accidentally kills his friend Mike (Glenn Howerton), mistaking him for an intruder. And then real danger does show up -- in the form of three masked torturers, leaving Kristen and James struggling for survival.

Its slow and overall a decent film.

Really, one word describes the entirety of this book: trippy. It was different, for sure, not something I expected. There was nothing sinister, just wholly unhinged. I kept looking for a terrifying secret, waiting for a crime to be committed, anticipating more action and less words. The beginning reminded me of An Unwanted Guest, both set in isolated areas in which a group of strangers have vacated to in order to relax, but that's where the similarities ended. It wasn't difficult for me to keep up with the change in perspective, despite reading from more than 9 of them. What I liked most was how much hatred, contempt, yet sympathy and compassion I felt for Masha - she was crazy, very unorthodox, but I feel as if she truly had good intentions (at least in the beginning).

Dark city- has myserty, science, horror, twist and turns throughout the plot.

John Murdoch awakens alone in a strange hotel to find that he is wanted for a series of brutal murders. The problem is that he can't remember whether he committed the murders or not. For one brief moment, he is convinced that he has gone completely mad. Murdoch seeks to unravel the twisted riddle of his identity. As he edges closer to solving the mystery, he stumbles upon a fiendish underworld controlled by a group of ominous beings collectively known as the Strangers.

Its a really intresting movie and will make you keep guesting until the end. With its suspense, thrills and a great cast.

Dark city is a great sci-fi horror movie, that more people should watch because it is very underrated.

Cool 60's soundtrack
A classy Thriller
Finally got to see this on Sky cinema as I missed it at the cinema. This is a very good thriller. It has a very strong ensemble cast line up, Jeff Bridges stands out. A bi-state Motel, which has long seen better days, is the backdrop as a group of strangers check in, all with something to hide.
The Motel set adds a cool and quirky location and the soundtrack is great. As the reasons for each of them being there unfold we get a slick, stylish thriller with a slight noir touch to it. You don't even notice the long run time, which is always a good sign the story has you hooked in. The ending maybe stopped it from being a classic for me but it's still a highly enjoyable film.

It takes two with Adults

This movie is very much like the movie 'it takes two' except its 2 adults. Both movies involve identical strangers from very different backgrounds who decide to switch places for a few days. Only difference is they're not trying to bring their parents together but instead end up falling in love with each others bloke in their lives. Some parts did annoy me, for example when Edward kisses Stacey for the first time, how does he not realise she's not his girlfriend and why is a child able to work out the duchess is not Stacey but her best friend never clicks!? Other than that though it is a good feel good movie, there's not many of those around nowadays as they always end in tragedy but not this one. It's a proper Christmassy family movie.
