As usual for John wick film is worthwhile just for the action and fight scenes But film went on a bit to long with little substance in between these moments

The Silence is entirely forgettable, appearing like some sort of amalgam of A Quiet Place and The Birds but lacking any of the substance of either.

Wall to wall depression, story that offers little to nothing of substance and is blatant in its ripping off of two better/classic movies (Taxi Driver and King of Comedy). (0 more)

Loudermilk | Trailer

Loudermilk stars Ron Livingston as Sam Loudermilk, a recovering alcoholic and substance abuse counselor with an extremely bad attitude about, well, everything. He is unapologetically uncensored, and manages to piss off everyone in his life.

A very simple follow up continuing from the same night as the first. Just another quick excuse for lots of extreme gore and kills with a very weak story line. One for the gorehounds, otherwise there is not much substance for anyone else.

Fun but lacking in substance
I've read quite a few of Nick Spalding's books, and they can always be relied on to provide some much needed comic relief. Bricking It is no different, however I did feel like it was a little lacking in substance.

The plot is straight forward, and to be honest maybe a tad basic. It feels like a very short read and I do think potentially could have been expanded on a little. Focusing on both Danny and Hayley's sides of the story helped provide variety and a much needed change in perspective. There's a fair few funny moments in this, some that made me laugh out loud. There were also a few unbelievably cringeworthy moments that I could hardly bear to read (think toilet humour). I think overall this has a decent entertaining story but is sadly lacking in any real substance likely because the plot is very minimal.

The original series was not my idea of the best of shows. The stories were okay they just didn't have a lot of substance in my opinion. I also believe the acting wasn't great but I did love George takei in the show as well as Walter koenig

A great introduction to the funk-rock of S&TFS, but i would encourage anyone interested to listen instead to Stand!, Fresh or There's a Riot Goin On, as they have a lot more substance than just scratching the surface here.
