Cockroach Typewriter
Naked Lunch- is a cronenberg film, it has all of his signautre tropies- horror, sci-fi, insane, crazy, psychological, suspense and drama. This one has to be one of the crazies films he has ever done. Its really insane.

The Plot: Blank-faced bug killer Bill Lee (Peter Weller) and his dead-eyed wife, Joan (Judy Davis), like to get high on Bill's pest poisons while lounging with Beat poet pals. After meeting the devilish Dr. Benway (Roy Scheider), Bill gets a drug made from a centipede. Upon indulging, he accidentally kills Joan, takes orders from his typewriter-turned-cockroach, ends up in a constantly mutating Mediterranean city and learns that his hip friends have published his work -- which he doesn't remember writing.

Naked Lunch has since become a cult film, acclaimed for its surrealistic visual and thematic elements.

Its a crazy movie. A must see film.

Suspense
A body is found in the middle of a cornfield in Nebraska. Detective Mackenzie White is on the case. All the men are intimidated by her. She is pretty and young. She is good at thinking outside the box and most of the men are older and are stubborn with their old school police work. Not only does she not have the support of her department, but her family also is a mess and doesn't really have anything to do with her and her boyfriend is a man child that doesn't want to move forward with life or the relationship. She believes this a serial killer so the FBI is called to help. It was a good read. Nothing to write home about. It's a typical murder mystery. I would recommend it to someone who wants a short read or is new to thrillers and murder mysteries.

Once again, I find myself enthusing about one of Jane Casey's books starring the unparalleled partnership of Detectives Maeve Kerrigan and Josh Derwent. This might be the 8th outing in this series, but it doesn't show and remains fresh and a riveting read from start to finish. I won't go into any of the plot as the blurb explains it well enough and to say more would give the game away but what I will advise is that you be prepared for twists and turns, tension and scenes of peril!

With fantastic characters, a gripping plot and enough back story so it can be read as a standalone, this is one not to be missed for all you fans of police-procedural/crime/suspense/thriller/etc/etc., lovers out there.

Thank you once again to the Publisher via NetGalley for my copy in return for an honest review.

One Wrong Move
Inside Man- is a intense game of cat and mouse. One wrong move and a hostage gets killed. Who will survive and who will die? Will the hostage get what he wants on time? All of these question and more, this movie is a intense roller-coaster. Twist and turns thought it until the very end. You expect one thing to happen, than boom anethor thing happens. Expect the unexpected.

The plot: DescriptionA tough detective (Denzel Washington) matches wits with a cunning bank robber (Clive Owen), as a tense hostage crisis is unfolding. Into the volatile situation comes a woman named Madaline (Jodie Foster), a mysterious power broker who has a hidden agenda and threatens to push a tense situation past the breaking point.

The cast is great, the suspense, the thrills, the drama, the action.

Inside man is a great heist movie.
