The plot: After witnessing the execution of serial killer Edgar Reese (Elias Koteas), whom he arrested, police detective John Hobbes (Denzel Washington), and his partner, Jonesy (John Goodman), are soon investigating another murderer whose mode of operation is eerily similar to Reese's. In the course of the investigation, Hobbes meets theology professor Gretta Milano (Embeth Davidtz), who introduces him to the world of the occult and the possibility that an evil spirit is behind the killings.
I like the concept, is different and unique. Its a cat and mouse chase between a human being and a evil spirit that passing on from person to person. So you don't even know who is possessed.
The supernatural portion is very good. The suspense and thrills are good. Not enough action though. Other than that its a good supernatural film.

The plot: The team of top-secret program brings ATF agent Doug Carlin (Denzel Washington) into its midst to capture the terrorist (Jim Caviezel) responsible for a ferry bombing that left hundreds dead. Its amazing technology lets the team fold time four days backward and see the madman's movements as he plots to kill a woman who could give him away. Doug realizes that the technology could allow him to do what law-enforcement officers dream of -- go back in time to prevent the crime.
Its a really highly entertaining movie, full of twist and turns and make you question alot of things until the very end and still when that happens you still have unanswered questions and more questions.
Highly reccordmend watching.

The plot: Chaos reigns in the New York City subway system when heavily armed criminals, led by a mastermind named Ryder (John Travolta), hijack a subway train and threaten to kill everyone on board unless a large ransom is paid. Dispatcher Walter Garber (Denzel Washington) uses his extensive knowledge of the transit system in a bid to outwit the hijackers and save the hostages, but one question remains: even if the hijackers get their money, how can they possibly escape?
Its a highly entertaining movie, and a must watch film.

Trust me I don't like saying all this being a big fan of Happy Death Day, but you watch this movie and tell me its not garbage. If you disagree with me so be it but you might be lying to yourself. There is hardly any horror in this horror film. If your gonna be in the horror genre have more killing more thrills more suspense and less science and multiverse talk. I love SciFi movies but this was not supposed to be that and it honestly ruined the credibility of the first film.

On the flip side, the main character --Ines--did little for me. I struggled to connect with her. The dialogue was a bit clunky, the style a bit sparse, and the flow just didn't exist for me. It was actually hard for me to follow, which is odd because I love complicated plots! I live for them and have read them for years, but from page one, I found myself wondering what was going on. The story felt...disjointed. This made it hard to keep my interest, to be honest. I think this book would be GREAT for readers who enjoy a slower pace and have the time to get lost while waiting for loose ends to tie. Unfortunately, I am not one of those readers.
