Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated Getting Rowdy (Love Undercover, #3) in Books
Feb 13, 2018
its only 3 stars for me
Its no where near as good as the last 2. Nothing really happens until your well over 100 pages in and barely any action or suspense until the last 50 pages.
Very disappointing I'm a big fan of Lori Foster but for me this wasn't worth the wait.

Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated Into the Shadows (The Associates, #3) in Books

What a great read, not a dull moment. Plenty of action and more than enough suspense to keep you reading. I believe this is book 3 in the Associates Series but this is the first one i've read and is easily readable as a stand alone. I will be reading the rest of the series.

Amazing costumes (2 more)
Stellar cast
Anne Hathaway is hilarious
Similar to its predecessors, Ocean’s 8 is a subtle heist that communicates more in montages and facial expressions than in intense dialogue. It moves at a steady pace with an ending I didn’t see coming. The best part is admiring the talented actresses.

MoMoBookDiary (20 KP) rated House. Tree. Person. in Books

I eagerly recommend Catriona McPherson’s “House. Tree. Person.” as an intriguing 4 star read.
I do enjoy reading Catriona McPherson’s books based in the Galloway region and enjoy following the characters journey’s between the towns that my family spoke of during my childhood.
This book is a good paced thriller filled with so much suspense you just don’t know what the twist is until the very end (or at least I didn’t).
This book was an easy, yet engrossing, read and had me hooked early on. The author tells the backstory at the perfect pace to ensure the reader turns page after page.
Thanks to Catriona McPherson, Midnight Ink and Net Galley for the opportunity to read and review this engrossing suspense novel.
