The first three-quarters of this book was brilliant. The scenes were set perfectly, the suspense was building to crazy proportions and my heart was racing at times. The book was let down by it's ending and the introduction of Vic. I wanted there to be a twist, the first one, where we learn of the relationship between Ashley and Mark was good and unexpected, but the second one, the addition of Vic, was poor and ineffective. A pretty good book overall but could've been better.

The way Estelliam writes just hooks you and will not let go. This is the second Alex Hope book and it was even better than the first, which was pretty amazing. Some authors struggle to mix romance with the suspense/mystery but Estelliam gets just the right mix so that one aspect doesn't over ride the other. The charcters are well developed and keep growing as the books progress. The setting is almost a character in itself because it plays a vital part in the story.

I was expecting some blood, gore, violence, and monsters (as you would expect from a novel written by a master of horror) and it was all there, but this isn't strictly a horror novel. It was more of an intriguing paranormal thriller, combined with romance and plenty of drama. The suspense kept me hooked and the believable characters left me thinking about them long after I finished reading the story. I haven't read many Koontz novels, but will definitely be reading more after this one.

Pina and Katie's adventures continue as does their quest to be together. The new characters in this book add so much more to the story that made it even more amazing. Of course I was picturing Hogwarts when I thought setting but I am a nerd. Maggiore does not just create a well paced suspense with numerous twists and turns but also captures the difficulties of being gay in that time. There is so much packed into this story I couldn't put it down. More please!

I've seen this film twice and it's one of those that has stuck with me.

It's not really a cast I would put together; having Sandra Bullock and Kiefer Sutherland as a couple just doesn't sit right with me, but it works in the overall setting of the film. Jeff Bridges is very good in the role of the manipulative murderer, and there is a lot of suspense throughout the film.

Very enjoyable if you like something to keep you on the edge of your seat.

This show may have been controversial in the media for it's portrayal of suicide but it was very thought provoking. It was a great way to show that you should always watch how you treat people and realize that your words and actions affect people. This show had comedy, drama, romance, and suspense. It has something for just about everyone. I would definitely talk to teens about this show before, during, and after watching. I would not recommend for children under 14.

A very well crafted suspense-driven storyline. I really like stories that make it hard for me to foretell what will happen by the end of the book. This was not one of those. I loved the author's writing style and will gladly say I will be reading his other works in addition to this one. I generally give most books a low re-readability rating but for this read I will say I would read it again if time allowed. Thumbs-way-up!

One you'll never forget
The Passage and the rest of the trilogy are some of the most fantastic books I've read. Continuous adrenalin rush, heart breaking and impossible to put down. Thoroughly enjoyed every sentence. Fantastic use of description, timing and suspense to build incredible pictures and I read as the whole plot unraveled slowly with so many layers.
I recommend to everyone I know who enjoys reading and even those that don't, a fantastic book to get them started. Well done Cronin!

Life After Death
After.Life- is a decent horror thriller. I have pros and cons of this film.

Pros:
Liam Nesson
Christina Ricci
The Plot/story
The suspense

Cons:
Just Long
Not Really Scary
Not Really horrorfying
Just forgetable

The plot: After a horrific car crash, a young teacher awakes on a mortuary slab. The funeral director convinces her she is not alive but transitioning into the spirit world. Is he telling the truth?

Like i said its decent but forgetable.
