"My favorite movie of all time is a film by Elia Kazan called A Face in the Crowd. I just love that movie. It’s one of those films that, any time it’s on, I’m stuck. I’m literally stuck in front of the TV, watching it until it’s over. I just think it’s just a brilliant commentary. It stars Patricia Neal, Andy Griffith, Walter Matthau, and it’s this amazing look at the impact and power of television. He made this film at the end of the ’50s, and even today, it’s as relevant and as powerful and as impactful as it was fifty years ago."

That Song
So this movie, why does this movie get hated on so much. Well one- no micheal myers in it. Two- the plot doesnt connect to the other movies. Three- the plot makes no sense. Four- the title of the film, lies their are no witches. Their are many reasons why this movie gets hated on. That why so many people love it, well because it is so different from the others, it is a oringal film, it is so weird, its so bad its good. Their are other reasons why people love this movie. So what happens in it you may say well....

Hospital emergency room Dr. Daniel "Dan" Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie Grimbridge (Stacey Nelkin), the daughter of a murder victim, uncover a terrible plot by small-town mask maker Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy), a madman who's planning a Halloween mass murder utilizing an ancient Celtic ritual. The ritual involves a boulder stolen from Stonehenge, the use of Silver Shamrock masks and a triggering device contained in a television commercial -- all designed to kill millions of children.

Also that damn song, that annoying song that plays on the tv.

So would i reccordmend this movie, well yes i would. It is so different from the others, its own movie.

Is Corn Really Scary?
Children of the Corn- is based off of stephen king short story. This movie is awful. Its soo bad thats its good in a way. Like how Maximum Overdrive is. Their in the same boat. Stephen King ask the question- is corn really scary and our answer- no. Are children scary- no. Is the ending weird and crappy and left a on cliffhanger kinda of- yes. Is this movie weird overall- yes. Is the villian of the movie creepy and scary- yes. Will i get to the plot of the movie- yes.

The plot: As physician Burt Stanton (Peter Horton) and his girlfriend, Vicky (Linda Hamilton), drive across the Midwest to his new job, their trip comes to a sudden halt when they encounter the body of a murdered boy in the road. In trying to contact the authorities, Burt and Vicky wander into a small town populated only by children, followers of sinister young preacher Isaac Chroner (John Franklin). Soon the couple is fleeing the youthful fanatics, who want to sacrifice them to their demonic deity.

Also by the way this movie has like six-seven sequels, a tv series and a reboot. That are all unesscary.

Skip this movie, its not good.

G1 is still the best
I was 12 years old when this movie came out. Let me tell you. It still stands up today. This movie had the best Transformers action you have ever seen. It takes you on an emotional roller coaster. Seeing the deaths of some of the Autobots you were accustomed to seeing on the tv show was heart wrenching. Wheeljack, Ironhide, Windcharger and most notably Optimus Prime was hard for a kid my age at the time to see. Even some of the Decepticons. But the ending of this movie will leave you feeling great. The final battle between Prime and Megatron was on for the ages.....UNFORGETTABLE. The voice acting of Leonard Nimoy and Orson Welles was a highlight for me too. Welles voiced Unicorn who was the main planet eating antagonist in the movie, while Nimoy voiced the Decepticon Scourge. With some of the old Autobots from G1 and the newer ones....they overcame the evil of Unicron and Galvatron....who was previously Megatron. I recommend this movie to any Transformer lover

Book Rating
Read this on holiday after watching Season 1 on Netflix. As an avid reader, I usually enjoy the book more than the movie/tv show as it has more details, more story, but in this case I didn't enjoy the book as much as the show. I just didn't get the same feeling from the book. It might have been different if I'd read the book first, but I don't know what was different this time.

Heartwarming and fun
I have watched this so many times. It one of my favorite Christmas stories directed by Jim Henson.

When a poor otter family sees the opportunity of a town talent show to make some much needed cash, they seize on the opportunity.

The songs and morals in this short TV movie make this great fun for the whole family.

The songs from Paul Williams will keep you humming.
