If you've seen the the movie quarantine this is the better orignal Spanish version which is way better version i thought the American version was okay but I wanted to see this version for a long time.
Manuela velasco plays a tv reporter who is filming a fire crew on call out to an incident at a apartment building when all hell breaks loose. For me Manuela is excellent as the reporter also a real life reporter in real life. The rest of the cast are good the make up so realistic. The movie had me on the edge of my seat thru out the 70 mins runtime. Sometime maybe I should watch the American remake again

Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated The Predator (2018) in Movies

Much like Aliens vs Predator: Requiem the majority of the film is set at night time, which was one of the things that I didn’t like about the 2007 movie, it’s a bugger to watch in daytime on a TV, unless you have a room with no windows! So no doubt The Predator will have the same issues when it has its home release.
The Predators have a bit of an upgrade in this latest movie in the franchise, they are stronger, smarter and bigger, which is something that you can see from the trailer. If you think that they are hunting for trophies then you’re wrong, they are harvesting the DNA to make themselves the dominant species.

I always wanted to have my own movie...
This wacky take on DC Comics teen titans characters and based on the tv show of the same name, aims and pokes fun at everything from deathstroke and deadpool, justice league and guardians of the galaxy and DCs mainstream movies.
Although very childish, this humorous light hearted take on DC characters may have been needed after so many failed DC projects and is personally welcomed by myself.
Great animations and perfect jokes based on facts are an exceptional blend.

Awix (3310 KP) rated Videodrome (1983) in Movies
Apr 9, 2020
Seminal Cronenberg movie, which, being a Cronenberg movie, doesn't easily fit into any other category. Jaded small-time TV executive becomes obsessed with what looks like a hard-core snuff channel, transmissions of which he stumbles across. But the Videodrome signal has a profound effect on his sense of reality and the world around him begins to warp into new shapes...
Starts off relatively conventionally (I say relatively: for instance, Debbie Harry plays a sado-masochistic radio talk-show host) but soon becomes a dense and challenging rumination on the place of the media in modern society and how we perceive the world - with the grotesque mutated imagery for which Cronenberg was then known, of course. A fascinating and powerful movie, still very timely, although it's clear that they couldn't think of an ending. Cronenberg chose to make this instead of directing Return of the Jedi: there's a parallel universe somewhere where the Ewoks were a lot more messed up.

Aspiring actor Greg Sestero meets a mysterious man named Tommy Wiseau in his acting classes with Jean Shelton. Hoping to achieve Hollywood stardom, Sestero moves to Los Angeles and signs on to appear in his buddy's project. Financed with his own money, Wiseau writes, directs and stars in "The Room," a critically maligned movie that becomes a cult classic.
There isn't a lot to say about this one. I mainly only went to see it because some people were raving about it. This for me is skirting the fine line of "based on a true story" and reality TV. I cannot watch reality TV, I find it physically distressing watching anything that awkward. That being said, I don't feel like I was missing out on much in this film, and no one else in the cinema seemed to be enjoying it either.
