I really enjoyed this book. It is the second book in series. I really do not go for these kinds of books. This one had me after a few chapters. It also has some twist and turns like in the first book. Alex is back and better. Alex helps his brother Michael out. Micheal deals with all kinds of things that are going on. He does things that his brother would have done if he were alive.

One of Alex's clients goes after Michael's wife Samantha. What makes Sharkey, the bad guy and his buddies go after her and still want Michael to be dead as well? The murders take place around the world. We start to understand Sharkey and why he wants Michael killed. How can Alex do what he can if he's dead?

Is Alex alive and hiding somewhere or is he really dead? Donna is Alex's third wife.Though Michael and Donna get some shocking news about Alex. Sindy enter Michael's life. Things are just getting more interesting with all the things going on. Does Michael save his marriage? Alex is getting more information so can he help Michael?

This book has me confuse if it a fantasy book or something else. With that in mind, I have enjoy this book if it one. Though I think it hit some mystery as well.

The orphan in this book is named Thomas. He is determined to fulfill his mother deathbed wish. We learn that his nurse is his mother. Though he to want to protect from the evil. This books take us on his jouney to Magnus Along the way he takes rescue some people. Though He first asked to Release the knight along with pickpocket boy and mute and deaf girl. As they travel Tomas tell the knight some things that he plans to do but not all is revel. He tell the knight about what he want to conquered of Magnus. There are three others that have secrets as well as he.

Does Thomas conquer Magnus or not that you will need to read an find out. Also to find out the other three names of one on his journey you need to read. I dislike giving away surprise and ending. This is a Fantasy and Mystery book in set a Medieval England.

An interesting idea
I remember seeing a trailer for this film when it was first released, and as didn’t play at my local cinema I hadn’t seen anything from it since until it popped up on Netflix recently.

It’s a very interesting idea and a great take on the traditional monster movie. Without going into too much detail, this film really doesn’t pan out the way I was expecting. It took me a little while to adjust to this, but I actually really enjoyed it and the ending was beyond satisfying. It was great to see Jason Sudeikis play something other than his usual type of comedy character, and Anne Hathaway was wonderful as always. I do think Dan Steven was ridiculously underused and they really could’ve given him a much better part.

The effects are a tad dodgy at times but given the low budget, it’s not a massive surprise or issue. I do think there are some slightly irritating plot holes and it does drag a little at times, but overall still a rather good film and a refreshing change to the traditional “Godzilla” style films.

I liked this quite a bit more than I thought I would. I think this movie has the distinction of being the very first I rated on Smashbomb! 😊

TAKING ROOT is the first book in the Eros Tales, and this promises to be a fantastic new series.

Danny's life was turned upside down when she was seventeen. Since then, she has travelled the States, never setting down roots, and never knowing when she will be moving on. She is sent to a town so very close to where she grew up, knowing the risks she will have to take if she meets anyone she once knew. She wasn't counting on the steadfast stubbornness of one Adrian Dukas though.

This was brilliantly written, showing Danny's loneliness and the trials and tribulations she has lived through, without it detracting from the current set up. Also, you get enough details about her father to make it horrific, without it going into information overload. There were no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading, and I found the pacing to be very smooth. With no plot holes I fell through, this was a gripping story from start to finish.

I loved the Dukas family, and I sincerely hope we will be seeing more of them. Absolutely recommended by me.
