Classic

I watched this when I was a young teen and was completely captivated by it. The imagery, pageantry... the entire simplicity of it all made this a must watch. Now in my adult years I still can't get enough of this classic that caused an uproar back in the day. Even my children that range in age 16 to 28 have seen this with me.

I received a copy of Crown of Coral and Pearl from Harlequin TEEN (US Canada) through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

In this book beauty is a curse that will get you sent away to marry a stranger.

Nor has been scarred and is out of the beauty running but must take her place.

Wow, the villain in this one is a creeper!

Started off rather slow and felt like a teen version of the Avengers.
When the action does begin it begins to pick up, it becomes quite engaging and with references to Tony Stark it evokes memories of recent events which indicates this takes place shortly after Endgame.
It's a satisfying addition to the next phase and an insight into the direction Marvel might be going.

Album Rating Watch

Rolling Stone's 17th greatest album of all time

It's easy to ignore this album as simply the album with the most overplayed rock song in the world, but it is a superb album. Smells Like Teen Spirit aside, every song offers something different, passionate, raw and emotional. This was a very welcome return visit to an album I loved and then ignored for too long.
