So simple to work even for kids
Links up with phone
Extremely simple to use
I got a Google home mini during a sale, opting for it instead of an Amazon Alexa which most of my family have as we all share one Amazon prime account and so they all constantly compete to listen to music on theirs. So far my Google home mini hasn't let me down. Not only does it link up to my Spotify for when I'm doing the dishes, it's also super handy to set reminders on for my medication, and I particularly like the nighttime feature of nature noises when you tell it "goodnight". And it tells some pretty awesome dad jokes!

"I’m going for a bit film school-y one, because I love Akira Kurosawa films, but I don’t want to go for Seven Samurai, so i’ll go for Yojimbo or Sanjuro, those ones that all the spaghetti westerns were based on. I know it’s not fair, but that clump of Japanese samurai films were just beautiful films. Toshiro Mifune was such an elegant hero and there’s something really empathetic about him. There’s this lovely thing with his face where you really can just tell everything that he’s thinking. He doesn’t have to do much at all; you can just sense what’s going on with him. So I love those films, anything with Mifune in actually, but that period in particular, he was the best hero ever."

Oh my goodness ... you have GOT to read this book!!

It is amongst one of my all time top reads!!

Just brilliant from start to finish!!

I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this book from the very first to the very last page. I loved everything about it; the characters (all of them ... which is unusual for me), the plot, the story, the tension, the pace, the writing style ... everything and I absolutely devoured it and can't wait for the next instalment in this series.

Read it ... you won't be disappointed.

Thank you to the Secret Readers Project for giving me the opportunity to read this book and for introducing me to a new author that I will definitely read more of.

The "motherload" of games
Like many people, I have lost countless hours to this game. Spending my time living the lives of made up people instead of living my own. And yet, how I miss it!
Ruby Stone, explorer of tombs, rider of horses, collector of crap. High fitness level, but bust, but a bit of a loner.
Just how much time I wasted waiting for Egypt to load so I could cram in as much tomb raiding before the vacation need, it is impossible to tell. But what I do know, is if I had the time these days, I would do it all again.
Why?
Because reality sucks!
Soothing my anger with the creation of a haunted mansion, by killing all the residents in a house fire by putting them all in a room with several open fireplaces, rugs everywhere, and removing all the doors and windows. Or getting someone into the pool and taking away the ladder.
Ahhh, the cheapest therapy there is.

When Tim, an COE for an AI company, idea his wife he starts a controversial project - he creates a robot of his wife. Abbie-bot has all the memories and feelings that Abbie had, but she can tell that something isn't right with Abbie's disappearance.

This book had me from the go! After two pages I could tell it was going to be a "Black Mirror" sort of thing. And I'm going to be honest, Black Mirror freaked me out. This book however was amazing! So many twists and turns. A real psychological ride! The character development of robot Abbie was brilliant. I loved going through her thoughts with her. The aspects of this novel are well researched, coding and autism. I cannot fault it. The ending took my breath away, three times in fact. Just as I was getting over the first "no way!" moment I was hit with another and then another. This is definitely going on my to read pile to read again!

@AJaneClark I've never read a previous novel, but I feel like I should start adding this author to my must read lists!
